Whenever I hear “Whitney Houston” in whatever they say, I prepare for free comedy

I love how each contestant is not only horrible, but horrible in a totally unique way.

Who loves the bad auditions but finds the good ones boring 😂😭😭

RIP Ariel Burdett, the iconic Holistic Vocal Coach who provided one of the most legendary moments on TV.

"Amy "Ariel" Burdett also known as Arabella Starchild was born in 1981 and grew up to be a self-proclaimed "holistic vocal coach" from Wakefield who auditioned for Series 5 of The X Factor UK. She did not pass the audition stage after singing her own piece which she branded an academic construction. She is remembered for her scary look and her voice which Simon branded a 'nightmare'. On the 12 November 2019, Burdett was found dead in her home in Leeds. She was found with stab wounds on her neck. Her death is considered to be not suspicious; thus, the stab wound was self-inflicted, ruling her death as a suicide"................wow.

I won't lie, sometimes my heart strings really get pulled hard when I see the look of utter dream crushing devastation on the faces and in the eyes of the people who are at least courageous enough to chase their dreams, and in a VERY public and intimidating way. That's more of an accomplishment than most of you here in the comments have ever achieved. Most people never dare chase their dreams in any sort of meaningful way, mostly because they're terrified of failing, rejection, and judgement, instead choosing to grind away at some 9 to 5 that they actually despise, but because literally everyone else is doing it, they're able to convince themselves (deceive themselves is more accurate) that they don't mind their job, even though they'd rather be doing almost anything else. It takes A LOT of guts to find out FOR REAL if you've got what it takes to pull off your lifelong dream, and to do it in this "trial by fire" manner, where the entire world is watching to see if you hit or miss, well, I can't imagine a more frightening way of doing it. Anyway, most of the time, though, I'm onboard with most of you here, but some of the rejected contestants get this look of devastation on their faces, and my damn conscience just tears me apart when that happens!! Lol....

I've watched so many of these compilations, and 9 times out of 10 it's just the same few repeated auditions. You actually managed to find ones I'd somehow never seen before! Thanks for all the effort you put into these. EDIT - oh I gotta add though, I don't understand why Cyril is in here, he was great!

Everytime I re-watch this, and I see Cyril get 4 yeses, I can't help but smile, and be so happy for him. I didn't watch the whole season, however I hope he had the absolute time of his life ❤😊

These people just can't hear themselves. Guaranteed they never bothered to record their own singing and play it back to hear themselves. They also seem to think that some kind of magic thing will happen when they go on stage and they will miraculously have a voice they don't have.

Ant and Seb? Yeah...The blond guy actually had looks and talent (not my type, but he was alright, compared to many...he held a tune, pitch...and he is classically handsome..) But his partner, the 'echo artist' (LOL!) ruined it.

These shows are so telling. It showcases delusion and arrogance comes in all shapes and sizes from every corner of the world.

The lady who came back for the 3rd time, Simon was actually really REALLY nice to her for someone in her position. He seemed to genuinely like her. He wanted to let her down as realistically but gently as possible. He showered her with compliments I truly believe he meant, in between keeping it real with her as softly as I have ever seen him do to someone.

Look, I’m a musician (I play several different instruments) but I know damn well I can’t sing. I don’t see how these people aren’t self-aware and don’t acknowledge it. They’re completely oblivious to their bad voices. When I try to sing I immediately know it’s out of tune. How do they not know?! 🤯🤷🏻‍♂️
