Him saying “not again” definitely means this wasn’t the first time he was too late to stop this from happening. I’m sure he’ll be back to right things.
Curious to see how or if they tie in Roma since they introduced the Adversary. She was the goddess that resurrected the X-Men after the Fall of the Mutants arc.
He was trying to save his mother like any good son would want but his computer had to send him back without her. I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of Madeline and we'll see her as the actual Goblin Queen, but at least she knows Nathan made it to adulthood.
@@TheWarmachine375 I don't think that's how the technology he has works though. His tech ain't like Bishop's. The computer more than likely wouldn't have allowed him to take her with him
Not cured, but able to keep it at bay through his powers. But they did save him by sending him away, so true about her feeling at peace. I wish that moment had been longer. Pretty powerful.
This episode really had me clenching my chest. Im pretty sure if i check my fitbit, it'll show my anxiety levels were through the roof. This was such a roller coaster of emotions happening all at once
This is probably going to get solved by time travel days of future past shenanigans, but I’m glad they showed the visceralness of human violence against mutant kind. Not a lot of Saturday morning cartoons willing to do that. And we’re only at the halfway point!
Actually it was confirmed in the x mem 97 that's it's the same cable personally i don't know why he attacked maybe he attacked them because of a mission or maybe he attacked them because they abandoned them pluse jean grey isn't technically his mother more like his aunt sense madlyn is technically cable mother as for cyclops i don't know why we as the viewers might understand but he won't pluse he literally said he knew them which was shocking like i said before i can understand why he attacked jean as for cyclops i don't know why
You also might want to consider this, 90's cable looked like he was about 40-50's years old, they didnt really give him much back story vs 97 Cable who looks like he is 30-40's year old and also time travel can have so many outcomes when you mess with the past.
Theory: After many failed attempts trying to stop the Genosha massacre, Cable comes to the conclusion of going to the past and killing Erik before he even becomes Magneto, but fails and accidentally kills Xavier. Starting the Age of Apocalypse timeline.
Cable said not again, it mean they already died before, hopefully next episode he travel back in time just like he did when the apocalypse killed the X-Men episode
when he starts sliding back, sounds just like josh Roland, live action cable Thanos, whatever , when he says, I'm so sorry, mom sorry but that sounds just like Josh roland
nah. Also it won't make sense, our present is now the future of then. He will not change our time line if it did it, but instead he will make another one.
@@LazaroiuVasile we don't exactly know how timeline works here, besides he said not again when he came which means the story is gonna change wether we want it or not. Looks like they are kind of taking a trick from Deadpool movie.
we didn’t get to see any clips of her after this. at least i didn’t notice any and i watched it a few times. hard to bet an omega level died without a fight, like magneto.
How did cable get his time travel cube back. It was destroyed when apocalypse was stopped at the end of time. Cable used a spaceship type time machine to get to the X men before
We'll probably find out. Considering Bishop was the one who took baby Nathan/Cable to the future, maybe Forge, aka the guy who built the time machine, helped?
@@johnnygyro2295 true but they also don't even mention how bishop came back. I mean he was not there in the last episode so I guess It doesn't matter and we just have to go with it
They show Apocalypse in the intro for this episode. Cable says “he is coming” and looks genuinely afraid. Unless there is some other big bad (like Onslaught) on the way.
in the original series he is introduced from his timeline into the xmen timeline as cable. when madelyne and cyclops had nathan they didnt know he would be cable in the future. cable didnt know his real parents as well.
@yeroc.thomas you forgot in the old show,Cable obviously knew Jean/Madelyn and Scott were his parents,When he asks the computer about the x men,He tells the computer he's already aware of Jean/Madelyn and cyclops and asks the computer to skip them
@@SupportGamin2024 that doesn’t mean he knows. also jean in the series was not Madelyn. it was never jean/Madelyn. he can know about some of the most popular powerful mutants but Madelyn was never made in the original series. she didn’t exist essentially until x men 97. she is the mother of cable.
The way cable was just pulled from time after trying to warn everybody of the coming attack I'm beginning to believe that was the watcher doing because if it's the same watcher from the mcu marvel what if tv show then probably he's trying to keep cable from making the same mistake that dark dr strange did when he tried to save christine too many times that caused him his world
He's an omega level telekinetic, but he has to concentrate all of his power on keeping the techno organic virus from spreading throughout his body so he can't use his powers on anything else as a result. So he mostly just uses giant guns inatead
She established a psychic link with him in Episode 3 when he was a baby. Notice how Jean and Madelyn got hit with a powerful physic blast before this horrible event. That could be residual physic feedback from Cable who is also a telepath.
he is his son, but in the series it is not explored in depth, it was a nice idea, that he is Madeline's son because it explains why he doesn't care about Jean Grey, and maybe also about his father, having only the memories of his mother before leaving him to bishop
@@bnoyb4621 and didn't Cable's computer also scanned Scott and Jean and he said among the lines of "I don't have time for that" as in his mission was more important?
