Agreed. It's the sort of thing that seems cool in the moment but if you think about it for more than a second it just doesn't work. Unless the implication is Mystique just straight up shoves Logan in weapon x anyway, which Apocalypse seems to suggest, or we assume the, now massively retconned, Origins happens as it originally did. The prominence of Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique is definitely one of the poorest aspects of the first class timeline.

I'm surprised you didn't mention how using Mystique's DNA for the Sentinels makes no sense when the Sentinels are clearly shown copying/absorbing mutants' powers which is Rogue's ability, not shape-shifting which is Mystique's (who cannot actually copy powers).

There's a post-credits scene in X-Men The Last Stand where the nurse hears Charles' voice coming from the coma patient. He transferred his consciousness into the guy before Jean killed him. Then in the post-credits scene in X-Men Origins, he tells Logan "You're not the only one with gifts", implying the transfer worked.

These two mechanics have the audacity to charge him for repairing his vehicle, so he breaks into their place in the middle of the night and shoves tailpipes up their tailpipes, it'll be hilarious! Shoving things up people's tailpipes is TIGHT! So they are taught a valuable lesson and learn the error of their ways and lower the guy's bill a little? What, no. They're dead. It's a horrific scene. I love this Cinemasins, Honest Trailer, CinemaWins, and Birdman. They always make me smile. And GoodBadFlicks is awesome too! He does a lot of B-Films and really goes into depth about their creation.

Definitely not the best xmen movie. X2 and first class are. This is just higher in the list becuaee the rest are just so bad. But even the original xmen is better.

@@aedanmannion zero sense with nostalgia, it's superior because at least the plot was cohesiveness what the villain was doing. It wasn't messy like Future past which used a lot of plot armor. Original Xmen was grounded grounded make sense at least of how the plot evolved and isn't convoluted.

Thank you for voicing all the complaints I had of this movie. I remember someone involved in the movie explaining why they didn't send Kitty Pryde back. "Well, we explained in the movie, going back in time shreds your mind, so..." and I was like BULLSHIT! You just made that rule so you can make another Wolverine movie!
