This timestamped tutorial for the LES Saab will guide you through an entire flight with a SID and STAR route, beginning at a cold and dark state. The purpose is to provide you with a clear yet concise understanding of the fundamentals, rather than just learning to go through a checklist. This video is aimed at beginners.
The LES Saab 340a is not only a great near study level aircraft, but it's also fully compatible in VR. It is one of the best commercial aircraft to start on. Below is a link to the sim vr lab profile that is required to play in VR, and some plugins I highly recommend.

Excellent detailed vid on Saab 340A procs. Keep up the great work WarSim. I have ten 2D flights on this bird and am loving it. My fav for VR is the STMA Husky A1C.

Hey, nice video! I know this is an old video and you said at the beginning that you were still learning but I fly this airplane for a living and all the stuff you got wrong made me want to pull my hair out. Lol. Not your fault, I just have too much time on my hands and I like to nitpick.

do you see the approach charts, SID and STARs sharp enough? my cockpit is sharp but I find the PDFs in Avitab very low res. Any suggestion? THanks

Is it possible to hold a spring loaded switch in VR (using mouse) while looking away without having the mouse cursor leave the switch in order to stay in the field of view?

i would recommend you Pilot2ATC it is ana amazing plugin. I don t know if is working with VR but give the demo version a try before buying it.

You should be able to just load it from the plugin menu. Have you tried that?

@@TheWarSimmer That's I know... forgot to explain that is in regular 3D (no VR) cabin. If I open the avitab from the menu it's appears in a "fix" 2D position of the screen, not in a specific place of the panel... I mean, like in the 737 zibo. I know that is required to "write" an avitab.json and change the panel object. From your video, I thought that you have that avitab integration ready. I searched in Internet but without success.

No strobes on the ramp. My biggest pet peeve is when pilots have the strobes on. Big thanks for not having the taxi light on until the tow is disconnected

@@mjmac87 I'm glad it helped my man. I will try to get something up soon- have just been busy lately. Learn that plane and then jump up to the ZIBO 737 if you haven't yet. It's a fun plane too.

Thank you. I would say it is VR compatible now. Don't think it's "official" but you can't tell a difference tbh. Will try to get the 2nd part up eventually.
