X-Raypad x WALLHACK Obsidian Pro Skates Unboxing | The mel0n Review Pt. I

Today we are looking at a brand new set of mouse-skates from X-RayPad but these skates have a rather unique twist because they actually a collaboration between SkyPad and X-RayPad! This unique collaboration has resulted in the Obsidian Pro Universal Mouse Skates! Now these Obsidian Pros are an upgraded version of the Obsidian skates X-RayPad released earlier in 2023 but unlike the previous Obsidian Skates the Obsidian Pros are optimized for usage on glass mouse pads! Now of course we'll have to see how these preform on glass and I'll cover that in my full review but for now we'll be doing a quick unboxing and first impressions of the X-RayPad X SkyPad Obsidian Pro universal skates! Interested to see how these work for tac shooters w my skypad. Tiger ice dots are a bit too fast for me. Great review!

Hey I've tried like every skate, these ones are awesome (the obsidian pros) they provide a lot of control, try sliding the mouse across the skypad, they are the slowest by far for me! Hope that helps somebody out, I was looking for control skates for a while and these are them for me. I've seen reviewers say they arent good on cloth, but I didnt have that issue either so.. Either way, their great on the skypad 100%, fast pad good control

Depends on how you've installed them. What mouse are you using and how many skates did you install and where?

Ppl say these start off the same speed as normal obsidian but wear in and becomes really controlled, thus providing a controlled glide experience for glasspads. Let us know if that really is the case with some use

I’ve noticed that when I’m using them on cloth pads actually! Still gotta do some more testing on glass but they do kinda slow-down a bit.

Just ordered a set a couple of days ago to see how they will perform on the Pulsar Superglide. Been using the normal obsidian dots and those feel smooth! But it is interesting at least to see some people had such a negative experience with the obsidian pros having too much friction on their skypad 3.0s.

They definitely have more friction than the OG obsidians but not so much that it hampered my aim, if anything the extra control was welcome haha. Let me know how they feel on the Superglide!

I’m using Obsidian dots on my Pulsar Superglide and its been a really smooth experience. I can’t even hear any feedback even with my headset off. Guess if these last significantly longer than the normal obsidian dots then it’ll be worth the price.

@@7ERRY_ longevity is my big question too, the pros have held up as well as the obsidians so far but I'll have to test it more to see how it holds up.

Got the Obsidian pros dot skates this morning. Been running them now for about an hour now on my X2H in Aimlabs. Took a bit to adjust, I guess because I've been using the normal obsidians for a bit now but after a couple runs the pros do feel a bit more controlled than the normal obsidian dots. On the Pulsar Superglide, this is a pretty damn good combination. Even beat one of my high-scores just right now. The speed is still there and then you get that control when needed, for example, when switching targets. We shall see how they hold up after days of use. Overall, this is a good combo switching from LGG Venus pro with Jade Speed dots to Superglide glass pad with Obsidian Pro dots.

@@Shrektorr⁠hey, trying to find skates and came across your comment, just transferred from an LGG Venus pad with glass skates to a superglide pad with corepad skatez, how have the obsidian pros held up? Do you still prefer them over the OG obsidians on the pulsar superglide pad?

I believe LGG.EU has them, maxgaming should carry them as well. I always get them directly from X-RayPad's site but sometimes you can find cheaper shipping options from regional retailers.
