I like Scotty but I have real experience of using Xado on my car. It reduced the engine and transmission noise on my car. Yes I used two separate Xado products: one for engine and the other for transmission. After 40k in 7 years, my car is in a better shape than when i first bought at 100k.
I use xado greases and I confirm their effectiveness especially for ball bearings. In many cases, there is no need to change them, they work longer. I am going to change the accessory belt on my car. Normally I have to change a belt pulley ($15) and a tensioner pulley ($80 !!). These elements do not "wear out". It is their ball bearing that wears out. Instead of changing them, I'm going to change the grease (xado green grease) on the bearings. Cost: $ 3 and it's ecological. I have ever used xado grease for my car : CV axle, wheel ball bearing.
Xado actually works and restores compression. My emissions results improved year by year on my old pickup after adding it at oil changes and the truck no longer smokes at startup. I wouldn't dismiss it.
Scott's wrong here. It uses your engine oil as a carrier, but isn't an additive. It uses the existing metal debris in your engine cylinders to form a ceramic layer over scratches and deformations. Also it's pronounced "HOTT-oh"
I used xado, since car had ~27'000km. Now i have 273'000km... first turbo charger.... Opel/GM 2.0l diesel engine. Everything still runs good. Motor is now 11 years old.
I put Xado stage 1 conditioner in my semi truck. My oil temperature runs cooler and engine noise went down sounds like it runs a lot smoother. This stuff works. Also their headquarters is in Kharkiv, Ukraine 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
This product does work. My Honda Jazz had transmission shuddering and by using one of their product it’s back to normal. And I’ve done 20k and it’s still fine.
I have used this product in my 4g63 it had a light knock now it is gone he is being paid to say negative things about it because it wasn't made in the US
I have to add I used Xado for my engine cooling fluid hole it had a small problem and the xado product I put into the cooling system actually fixed the small leak and worked. I was so happy I didn’t need to spend huge amounts of money!
If it weren't for an Amazon gift card I would've never had the pleasure of using this marvelous product. Just bought another bottle for a different car. It quiets any ticking/ friction noise you may have coming from the engine. How it works? I have no clue, but it works.
I use xado product on my CVT transmission and it really help! my issue was my start up clutch and it slip when the transmission is cold but now it's almost completely gone!
Well I have to say this guy must work for a circus the way he shouts. Give me a break, I changed oil in my 83 6 cyl. added the XADO and run it for about 20 minutes took it for a drive 200 miles and it stopped smoking, started better and no smells. That was 6 months ago.
I like Scotty. The only reason why he hates Xado is that no one from Xado gave him a scientist or engineer he can communicate with and ask more about the product. I hope Xado can send him a sample product for him to test. I have been using Xado on my vehicles...the 3-tube application for every 250 kms per tube. Got one of my vehicles reach 450,000 kms without any overhaul. Just try it Scotty so you will know.
Stuff works i had rebuild a new short block for my truck, new pistons, crankshaft,camshaft and connecting rods, my old block trew a rod bearing plus had 500k miles, due to budget issues I had to reuse some old internal components and the cylinder heads, so my valve lifters where sticking lightly, when thru the first break in oil change the ticking will not go away and desided to give xado a try. No lie within 2 minutes of adding this the engine after it warmed up to operating temp my engine was iddling smoother than a new car in the sales floor. I swear by xado, ive tried multiple of their chemicals and guess what they work
Like Scotty. But this stuff has an element to it that works. It DOES "rebuild" atoms by forming a layer of ceramic via heat and friction, and shears off any extra using the friction. My 3rd and 4th gear were going in grinding, after using xado transmission additive the gears went in smooth, no more grinding. I don't make this sht up..
I bought a worn out rear differential on a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo and it was making a whirring sound. I added Xado and after 2 applications it was almost silent. I have added Xado into the rear diff since to complete the quietening process and now its silent. I have driven it on track too. Xado Works ! I think you just don't know enough to comment Scotty
dude, you have no idea what you are talking about I tried their transmission additive cuz my VW transmission was a bit worn out at 380.000km without an oil change couldn't shift in reverse without grinding gears, getting in to 1st gear was always a struggle a while after I added that(along with fresh oil) it started to get better after about 1-2000km I could shift normally, heck, even smoother than on many newer cars I got a "new" car last year with 270.000km changed all the fluids, this time without the additive but the same castrol transmission oil, no real improvement so far after 5000km might wanna change the oil again(since it got dark from pixie dust) and add the additive this time
Sorry Scotty but Xado Products WORK WELL. Been using them for many years and my engines have over 230 and 330 thousand miles on them and still going strong with no leaks and no issues. I use it on all my classic cars. On my 2008 Sonata with over 230K miles on it, the engine will not warm up at idle since using Xado. It has reduced the internal friction THAT much. Your WAY wrong on this video.
It halves the engine internal friction (with no oil pressure). You can easily test it with hand cranking an engine with spark plugs removed before and after.
Have a good experience , my Sienna has been stop whit tranny sleeping , drive slow to home. Called Xado dealer in Chicago and ordered revitalizing Xado for transmission… two years driving after that and sold the car whit no problem whit transmission, not agree whit your.
I know this is old video. But you wrong. This product work only for part with high load friction. This thing not react If the liquid contained oil have no friction load. May be you make a video before you use it anyway. It did reduce metal damage cause by a friction. I a fact I test this product which is the grease. Indeed it fix bearing problem I used it on my diesel engine for wood splitter it does make bearing operational more smooth.
No disrespect Scotty but xado works my v6 hilux ran cooler with this stuff and sounded great and quieter,i even tried it in an old breaks and scrappen quattro 40 lawnmower engine,which i believe was one of Briggs worse engines, this thing is still running and is over 20 years old.
I tested myself and I agree with Scotty, nothing but a waste of money. Try it yourself, maybe the application will fit the issue you have, but did nothing to my 3 cars and 3 transmissions that I had, those where "OK", compression was the same (a couple of pistons where a bit lower due to normal wear) and Transmissions even with new fluid and the product did anything where the box claimed that it it was helping. Test it yourself and post in the comments, Usually comments are the real deal, but for me was just snake oil.
I adore Scotty to bits but this video is complete hogwash.... Sorry scotty, I had a 1999 Pajero IO farina pinin in Kenya and after changing the engine 3 times, I decided to check out Xado and I put in injector cleaner, metal conditioner, and transmission revitalization and my car's performance went from zero to hero and transmission changes became smoother.... when i sold the car the owner till date exclaims that this was the best car they ever got and I really miss that car, but i also did the same on another bigger engine 1GR FE Toyota Fortuner and I couldnt be happier, for the last 8 years plus, no drama or issues.... so real life testimonial, Xado works and despite being expensive, I would use it anyday..... again Sorry Scotty.....
I should watch your video before adding XADO into Hyundai Entrouge engine. Guess what happened! I ended up with spending thousands of dollars to rebuild the engine.
You would have had engine failure without adding xado. It's not a guarantee it will fix your engine, it all depends on what is failing internally. There's no way this stuff could hurt the engine
You are wrong. I used this and the fuel consumption went down and the engine ran smoother and quieter. And the totalflush freed up the stuck piston rings. You spread fake news.
Hey Scotty, thinking you're being paid to rubbish this product. Been using about every product made by Xado for years & everyone works & works as advertized. You're getting very good at talking without actually giving real useful advice. Following the money.

Yes Scotty its a maximum scam tried this in my mower engines for 2 years took engines apart under the microscope there is no coating,and the lucas oil stab. reduces friction better than than this garbage,my brother put the xado in his jeep engine and after 46000 miles started misfiring 3 lobes wore of of camshaft.
funny how scott bags the products he hasnt tried! what a tool! i have used xado in engines diffs transmission and has preformed biblical miracles! i highly recommend " xado" and also "cerma stm-3 " from usa - also good funny how people react when you tell them of the miracles these products preform yet they all think your on some type of drugs!
