@@Collsteve8 you can just unplug the power cord from Xbox plug back in hit power button one time then just put a disk in an it turns on (make sure to have any extra stuff like battery chargers or USB’s from the Xbox takin out only the hdmi and the power cord)
I solved this issue with a new power brick. Also, I wouldn't recommend putting the power brick on top of the Xbox, as both of them can get pretty toasty. I put my power brick on the floor behind my console.
What was your xbox doing? Cus mine is like doing that small chirp and not flashing on or anything. And the power bricks is staying orange. I'm just asking just so I'm not going to waste my money on buying the power brick
@@jormelocampo9754 You want to Press the Sync button (on the side of the Xbox), Eject, and power button all at once for about 10 seconds or until your Xbox makes the start up noise. After that I check my Brick to see if the light changed if so just hit the power button one more time and it should work if not press the Sync button once and hold it with the power button until it powers on. I rinse and repeat till it works. Hopefully this helps GL
It’s cold, for some reason it won’t start cold after a while. Keep messing with it until it turns on. You’ll notice that once it warms up you can turn it off and on as many times as you like.

For the 1st time in a year im trying to turn on my Xbox One. At 1st the power light on the system came on as show in alot of the other videos, an then shut off, wiped all the dust off. Just got a new power brick because the old wouldn't light up. The new one lights up orange, green then back to orange. Tried your steps an all im getting is a beep like a disk is trying to eject. Am im doing something wrong or is the system trash.
Hey i dont know if i need a new power supply but the brick stays orange, when i press the start up button on the xbox nothing happens no sound nothing. So I recently just had this problem and the way I fixed it was I noticed if I unplugged the power brick and clicked on the Xbox it would try and boot for a split second and then shut off once the power Brick lost power so right before it would shut off I plugged the power brick in and bingo the Xbox stayed on
how mine requires a power supply to boot up. I put in the cord for the power supply and right before it shuts off the con sole does a chirp so is there any other ways?
