Xbox One X Faulty Powers Up Powers Off after 9 seconds

Looking for sensible suggestions of diagnosis
3 button factory reset doesn't work as it powers off before 10-15 secs
no display during the 9 sec period, I replaced the TDP158
fan does not spin
tried: replacement fan, psu, linux dd copy of orig HDD to SSD
used a thermal camera on the board and watched for obvious overheating components - nothing

I updated my Xbox X and it bricked like this. Only thing I can find after some interwebs searches is that RAM chips are failing after updating.

Mine just did the same today. No idea where this is coming from. Logs me in then turns off.

It is the connection to the internal hard drive. It has to be replaced.

From memory it sounded normal. It's been packed away into the loft as a future fixer project. Sorry.

Just got a used Xbox One X today, does the same thing. I was able to actually get in the menu once, but now it does this. Found a solution yet?

Try replace the hdd and install a fresh firmware via usb if then you encounter a e100 you will need to change ur disc drive sometimes even the cable that connects from the disc drive to the main board.

Sourced a working xbox so will do a component compare. If I find the problem I'll follow this up :)

Still not resolved. I did swap out the PSU with a known good but no dice. We bought another full functioning unit to replace this. The faulty one put away for rainy day investigations.
