xbox series x blinking black screen FIXED

This only happens to me when I play games but when i watch RU-vid or Netflix it’s doesn’t flicker I did what u said and it didn’t work

Hey, y'all. Figured I'd do my part and offer what helped me: I basically did EVERYTHING this video instructed. But my color bit was already at 10. So I just disabled YCC... It sorta helped, as in my screen flashed black much less frequently. Maybe once an hour or even two hours. At that point, it was bed time. I decided to unplug my Xbox for the entire night while I slept. Woke up. Plugged my Xbox back into the power strip but didnt turn it on. Went to work immediately (5am-1pm). Came home from work. Unplugged my HDMI from the BACK of my Xbox(as I read someone had did in this very comment section) and then placed the HDMI back into the Xbox.. Turned it on. And so far it's been flawless... not sure which of these steps may have resolved it. But just giving you guys my step-by-step procedure. Good luck out there!

Still works, everytime I hit the home button only when playing cod, after I got out of the home button my screen would turn black for a second but now it works thanks daddy I hold a brick for you

Thanks bud! It wasn't the settings that you pointed out that fixed it for me, but you showed me where to look. For me it was the "Allow 24hz setting" under "Video Modes". I had to turn that off and Bob's you're auntie.

When I go to general Video modes the only ones that I can access are Allow YCC 4:22 and Allow 50hz have any tips?

Yes but like this you are forcing non hdr game (8bit) in hdr (10bit) i don't know if this is a good thing

Yo guys I just had this problem and solved it less in 30 min, just factory reset your TV. Worked first try for me.

I have found the solution !!!!!!!!!!! For Xbox series s, find out how to troubleshoot your box reset it and log back in, mine is completely fine now. I tried all these and also other videos nothing was working but this.

Mine was already on 10bit.. so I changed it to 12bit and this is the longest I’ve gone without a black screen.. 4hrs
