We as XFL fans need to try and set up watch parties for the championship game. I think with NFLs partnership and Dwayne Johnson involved, this has a great shot at making it. You need multiple years so that outsiders can have confidence that it's something they can get invested in with their time and money towards merch.

The vipers qb actually looks solid. The guy moves away from pressure and keeps his eyes down field. That's good football, love the XFL.

I actually liked seeing Maclendon so upset at the end of the game. I don't want the QB not caring about losing. He's passionate and it shows in his play because he was nearly unstoppable in the first half.

He put the ball where it needed to be. If he didn’t slow his receiver momentum then he would have been lined up for a kill shot by the safety who was there. Any receiver knows that’s a good placed ball and they have to make that play.

That's what the legend Wade Phillips can do, I'll always love him after the Broncos in 2015 got that superbowl win and cemented themselves as a top 10 all time defense! Were I not already a Battlehawks fan since 2020, I have no doubt he'd have me cheering for the roughnecks!

I was here live covering the game!! Hell of a game between the two, also got the chance to meet Coach Woodson and interview the players, plus watch from the Press Box. Awesome game!!! **SIDE NOTE** Coach Rod Woodson is a real one. Some guys flew in from Mexico (Steeler Fans) just to see him. He took pics and signed their Woodson jerseys and Terrible Towels. Awesome guy!!

I must say the quality of play improved from early on this season. I still think the '20 version was better. USFL last season in the titlegame looked better than 2020 XFL. It will be interesting to see how they look this season with the talent stretched out thanx to the XFL...

Entertaining game! Houston needed the win, and their defense and running game(!) delivered. As for Vegas, McClendon is my favorite XFL player (not on the DC Defenders). I see what the Vipers' coaching staff sees. He had some tough plays in the second half, but there is a lot of "good" for him to build off for next week. I hope he comes back to the XFL next spring. All he needs are more reps. The talent is there!

I absolutely love the way the xfl allows coaches to challenge things. It doesn't really take away from the game because you get to see how they determine the call and the video being seen to make that decision.

I think the XFL will last. Though they might lose players to the NFL but I think the QB's going stick around. It don't seem to logical for to make the NFL jump if they not looking at starting opportunities. They setting they selves up to be a good developmental and spring league whether it becomes official with NFL or not.

No they weren't - They couldn't get an extra point all game! It would have just ended 28-27 Roughnecks rather than 28-21! And yes they'd have HAD to go for 2 because they'd have stood no chance in a shoot-out!

I don’t agree with the commentator saying the dropped game tying pass was off target. The wr has to do his job and catch that. We’ve seen more difficult catches than that now cmon. Just another reason that wr is in the xfl and not the nfl

So many disappointing losses by Vegas this season. I remember their first 2 or 3 games were all blown leads (at least 2 were double digit). Same situation here. Unfortunately, they just don't have enough poise to close out games. Their defense, especially the secondary, is absolutely terrible.

I love seeing a coach challenge a call the refs missed and have it be reversed, hope the NFL adopts this one day! Imagine, for example, the no call PI the Saints suffered through being challenged and (obviously...) winning. It's a big thing and sports going into the future will slowly start to have ZERO excuses to miss calls or make bad calls (though that may be a century away realistically).

Ok. Love and support the XFL but a few complaints about their highlights collation. XFL officials should immediately replace all NFL officials but do we really have to include all the detailed process? Yes we need to know when there's an impactful penalty but half these highlights were of the officials. If you cut out the referee highlights maybe we can see more of how drives get to the red zone, how possessions change, 3rd downs, and other relevant plays.
