Between Xolaani and Aatrox, I find Xolaani to be more terrifying. Aatrox is destructive and furious, but at least he is honest in his hatred. He is guided by his own wish to be free from his terrible state --- to die with the dignity of a warrior rather than exist as a tool. He is sincerely compassionate to his fellow Darkin, his former brothers and sisters in arms, and wants to liberate them if he can help it -- they follow him of their own volition because they respect him and look up to him Xolaani on the other hand, would strip you of your freedom, your identity, and then she would call it love. She sincerely believes that she makes the world better, and she forces those she subjugated to sing praises to her -- her point of view is entirely selfish and, as noted by Aatrox, cowardly because she still clings to her existence, to the times when she was loved and worshipped and tries to replicate it in the most twisted way possible, and would drag the entire world into her delusions.
@@Xephyranth it's hard to imagine Aatrox's redemption at this point. He caused much pain and destruction in his attempt to make the entire world fight him until his permanent death (or the world's end). So, it's not something that can be remedied by him suddenly saving the world from Xolaani. Also, I still think his too traumatized by his entire experience to ascend or revert back to his better self. He still wants to die, he hates what he became, and he has too much pain and anger in him to just let go. IMHO, the only way out for him that doesn't involve him dying might be his rebirth. I mean, literally, as in Aatrox's soul (or what's left of it) getting a second chance in life and starting a new as a child with no memory of his past life and, therefore, a potential to grow and develop all the positive qualities he used to be admired for.
There's a line from Xolaani where she said "I am an ascended" like she insists that she's an ascended instead of accepting that she's a darkin. While Aatrox accepted that he's a darkin and could never gain back what was lost. Hearing that line I already know what kind of personality she have. Really fits with your description.
@@Esplin6296 Vladimir is the only "mortal" to ever kill a Darkin without the power of an Aspect, and that was before becoming Alucard-looking-mothertrucker. And Morgana is the sister of Kayle, daughter of the Aspect of Justice, and thus an Aspect herself.
Why not her beloved student Jun try to save her master and stop the Kaynn rampage as Kaynn already kill Master Yi's disciples (idk Wukong whereabouts), she sacrificed herself to be assimilated by the darkin twin sickles, thus Xolaani was resurrected.
Xolaani power level in LoR is an apocalypse level The other Darkins including Aatrox and Varus all came to Shurima to stop her Kayle, Ryze and the Aspect of Justice Mihira as well Her ability to be able to control other beings even powerful ones like other Darkins and an Aspect is just an Armageddon kind of threat, probably closest threat to Runeterra as of recent was Ruination Viego given that both entities are able to take control of other strong entities
@@DXXD_ you mean she was weaker than him, i kinda have a working theory that maybe darkin work like how they work in league, and if that’s the case xolaani is actually more dangerous than we realize. when she first ever assimilated with jun this would mean she knows the wuju style and that ALONE is very very bad. master yis entire village was wiped out because he used the wuju style against the noxians and they were shook bc he was wiping out literal armies in the matter of seconds.
@@xnightsamax7149 she actully did kill ALL the Darkin, she got to that first form by consuming so many of her brothers and sisters (both Taarosh, Horaazi and Varus lost to her) Aatrox is nowhere to be seen so we can guess she killed him because she said she's not gonna revive him. Kayle probably died too because she ults Xolaani trying to kill her but she survives and only then does Kayle back away seeing her new form.
@@agony_addict we just assumed they got two separate ending for Kayle & Xolaani. The good ending came when Kayle got exalted by the gift of Mihira (her mother) and defeated Xolaani. The bad ending as Kayle about to fall, Xolaani assimilated Mihira then became an aspect bane. There when Aatrox, Kayle & Ryze form a truce to defeat Xolaani...
her saying "I AM EVERYTHING" is giving me chills, because she is not lying if she has access to their desires and memories... then yes she becomes everything. She turns into a hivemind. That means she is not lying to kayle, if she ever takes over Mihira she becomes aspect of justice, she is not a "mockery" of her visage... she is her. Worst thing about her is her ideals are best and virtious but they became so wicked.

you may hate her, but if Jun didn't get Xolaani's bloodletters, or Kayn would takeover Rhaast's scythe and become the next Shadow's Order leader or Rhaast would possess Kayn's body and kill all Wuju warriors, including Yi and Jun themselves.
@@melodieluanepaula that is if Rhaast can take over Kayn. Kayn is too mentally strong for Rhaast to take over. He has huge confidence with matters regarding him that you could even say he's a borderline Narcissist, but not fully over since Rhaast can't manipulate Kayn to take over his body.
With all her quotes about preserving life, it's safe to assume she fears death. I wonder if she would have anything to say to Mordekaiser if he ever gets added.
Ah, I am sorry. There are 2 mistakes in the video I've noticed to fix. 1) Aspect Bane art coming too early 4:42 should appear at 5:12 2) "Xolaani bloodweaver text" freeze at 5:12, there should be "Interaction with enemy card" instead. This happens sometimes when your main video is finished and you rearrange video elements.
I love this entire scenario where Xolaani appears again and there is this grand, desperate battle between her these known champions. IMO it's for the best that she isn't an actual champion because it really seems like she is set up to die at the end, so that the champions involved advance or close off their arcs and change for better or for worse. I guess she could just lose and not outright die, but I don't think we need yet ANOTHER recurring threat to Runeterra like Bel'veth or Mordekaiser.
you literally can kill off champions in lore with no repercusssions, it's a false idea that it matters for the actual game whether they die in lore or not, league lore could be 10 yrs in advance by now if not for this delusion
I just wanna see these ascended beings fight the void in a badass heart wrenching nerve wrecking fight with back stories for each that make the viewers attached and emotional and just lose themselves completely to the voids corruption and turn to blood magic to save their sanity, all these serious and badass scenes and just a specific scene to all of the Darkin having a meeting about putting double A's into their new names.
I feel like Morgana is the one that would be most effective against Xolaani. Letting herself be controlled, chained if you will. And then uno reversing and forcing her to feel her own pain, and face her own cowardice, truth and bygone glory. A mental attack
I'm sure with the release of Naafiri, they're ramping up to give us the "Darkin Event" where Xolaani will ultimately be added as a playable champion. Probably some insane 8 page passive that has to do with killing unique champions and gaining stacks from killing a certain number of other units to evolve into something greater.
It’s kinda on brand of Aatrox to be the only Darkin to not follow her control seeing as he’s essentially a Darkin on steroids, he dominates his vessels to the point of erasure, building upon the bodies of thousands just to reform himself into the Darkin he’s always been.

Jack and Xoolani would be killer, i mean Jack is already a champion in LoR so maybe? Xoolani could use a design touch up, has the same issue with Aatrox where she looks too generic mmo demon, Xoolani's bane is cool tho. I mean it seems theres a chance since Renata and Belvoth exist and one is and old buff woman with a prostetic arm while the other is a living rug, it isnt always anime atleast.
@@ratatouilledrinksclorax9897 I'd like to see a what if scenario if she won the whole fight aka. kills Ryze, all the darkins and Kayle and her mother. Then we coulde see her advancing mount targon killing the aspect's hosts with that being shown in her follower cards. And then when she levels up we get to see her take on a celestial form
If they add a dark in support, Xolaani would be perfect. She could be a carry support that is similar to Kayle where she spends early game keeping her team alive, but in late, she is the enemy who guides her team to victory

"There is no greater enemy than cowardice" I find it really cool how this line succeds at showing the unstoppable and unreasonable force that is Aatrox. He will not think about what is fair, right wrong, about what will hurt you more or less, he will not consider the easier or the harder way. He has ideals, an objective, and he will walk forward, equally destroying everything in his way, untill all of existence perishes. At least, that's how I see Aatrox.

so hope Xolaani is one of still many darkin coming to league. also i hope she will be either an adc (similar to kaisa) or toplane/assassin (similar to akali, yone etc) that would bes o awesome. cant see her as a supp even supp role is still missing. for a role in lore like hers and with her weapon she doesn't fit support.

That was Ryze's landmark, as he got the stone that told history of Darkin War. He got 4 more stone that has these events: - The Shurima vs The Ichatia. - The fall of Blessed Isle (Viego). - Ryze betrayal as he murdered his master. - The bitter truth of how Targonian chain up Aurelion Sol.
You can tell the other Darkin strain and struggle under her ‘love’ but it’s just a self-aggrandising imposition on their will. Choking out the mantra of “Peace through servitude.” through force in her first form, and then just dully repeating it in her second. With Aatrox they speak normally, out of genuine respect, camaraderie and resolve to make it their ‘last war’ It’s honestly seems kind of pathetic in comparison, that Xolaani wants the enforced adoration of all. To bask in their adoration like a vain despot. Where even a maddened omnicidal self-admitted broken wretch can get it merely by asking his kin to stand with him again. It also tells me that is Xolaani’s real drive. She’d break her principles for Aatrox because he is the one thing she cannot control. And she cannot have that, she’s a vain control freak even more contemptuous than a nihilistic lunatic like Aatrox.

in the lore there's several forms of Xolaani bc she can absorb other darkins, in his fight with Aatrox she alr absorbed Hozari, Taarosh, Varus, Rhaast and some other darkins, in that state Aatrox barely wins her, after she absorbs the rest of the darkins (Anaacka, Joraal...) she is stronger than Aatrox
I have a feeling that Xolaani (btw she has the AA on her name which means she's Darkin like Aatrox etc with the exception of Varus) will be the next champion to appear in LoL.
@@pantheonsbakerys It's hardly a shameful thing to have an attractive (sometimes oddly attractive) female champ that sells skins. Sure it's not the most original, but it's not like the people who buy the skins don't enjoy it. 😝
