XP Deus 2 Relic program explained 

I’ve been using a Rutus alter 71 for some time. I do find a lot of the UK videos from the “experts” show plenty of digging and the menu etc but never go into the depth of your videos. Your user advice is outstanding. Well done Gary. It makes the Deus and Deus2 a tempting machine to own 😉👍

Great video Gary. My favourite programme on the ORX is gold 1 which probably is a stripped down version of relic, like you said, you have to work at it but the rewards are worth the effort

Gary. I've been running your basic settings as seen here in Relic mode with some good success in an old farm field I've hit hard with a couple different machines. I hope you don't mind me adding that those double 0's are not always iron. I've dug a 7" large cent and a couple other items id'ing like garbage but they sounded good. Thanks again for the videos!👍

I went to my local dealer today for natter and at the same time put my name down for a second machine. I went back to the beach a couple of days ago and found a bit more coinage and my first Silver ring and another junker and a Silver ear ring . The program i put in Beach Sens seems to be better than the other program . Called them Nuke em 1 and Nuke em 2 . Saw a Rutus Atrex as well but that doesn't look the business for me . Martin G likes it though , he got one today. I want the Legend . Provided the tones are good and the numbers are all different for the coins instead of the nightmare the Equinox is . XP has really be listening . I wont sell my 2 FBS machines , they have their place and the Legend will replace the Nox and the Deus 2's will be my main land and sometimes beach machines. Cant wait for a dig.

Buenas noches Gary yo lo e probado pero solo me daba señales de entre 1 a 7 , pitidos muy fuertes termine al jornada con solo dos piezas cuando mis compañeros tenian muchas mas que yo , creo que con relic me deje todas esas piezas pequeñas , por otra parte el balance de tierra lo hice por primera vez el el deus 2 ¿ se bombea hasta que deja de sonar? gracias.

Another great video Gary. I got my Deus 11 on the first batch and used it on the beach . I did well and had 4 junk rings and over £21 . I used a modified beach program but i think it needed a tweak so i have done another in beach sens . I might be out in the weekend. Not got any digs to go on at the moment but i will be in a few weeks. Maybe a Wanderers dig or one more local when the club gets going again soon. Really like the Deus 11 . Had to sell my Deus 1 but the Deus 11 was worth it. In fact i like it that much , i'm thinking getting another as back up. Only 3 things i still dont like , coil lugs not in the centre of the coil , coil covers are a bit soft on stony beaches , and something someone else said , why the same charge clip on the coil ? Why not a magnetic type? I didn't think of that but then i haven't broke one yet "touch wood".

This was a great video, along with those on the EX channel that you do. In fact I've been binge watching those in readiness for getting the Deus II. I did find the section where you whizzed through the various options to achieve your ideal search settings at 5:20 quite mind boggling. I'm coming back to the hobby after nearly 30years and used to have an Arado 120b, which was dead simple to use, compared to the new machines. Is there a video where you show the basic (essential) items to go through to fine tune the detector on each site, or was this basically that?I realise that there are the programme modes for us newbies, but it would be nice if there was a basic checklist to consider on each site.

I love the relic mode, but cannot pinpoint with it. I get an audio overload when I hit the pinpoint button.

I like how just one on the iar kind of gave you a little bit of an iron sound and with the zero zero kind of gives you a clue to move on

Very interesting, have tried relic but never gave IAR a thought or persevered with that programme

Someone suggested saving my Sensitive FT (tweaked) as custom program and using that in conjunction with Relic.

And is there also a program on the Deus II that corresponds to the old hot program? This might sound nuts but I took a screen shot of Gary Blackwell in Deus Skill School and uploaded it to my Amazon photos account. From there, I made it the screen saver on all the TV's in my house. It drives my wife and oldest daughter crazy, but what do they know about metal detecting? I told them the screen saver stays, unless one of them can teach me more about the Deus than Gary.

Very good video. But the question is what will be better for old medival sites with lot of iron... DEEP, SENSTIVE or RELIC for coins...

Nice informative Vid as always. 👍 So the relic should be used more on clean ground like pasture...what's about the deep Program, is it any useful on common littered ground to get some of the deeper stuff? At the Moment, the Park Program is my favourite because it's buisy ground I am on. Looking forward for more interesting D2 vids out of your production 🤘

What kind of tones do relict and gold programs use. I couldn't find a description of this in the manual.

P.S. I think the Deus 1 and 11 are pretty much the best well made machines . Considering their weight thats amazing .

I don't like it. No way to adjust the tone and that tone I do not like that comes with the relic mode. I feel like the Deus 2 is beach detector. I am using Deus 1 again more than my Deus 2.
