xqc plays RTS games off stream, particularly StarCraft 2 (he streamed it once). He also rarely quotes Warcraft 3 units. Chat finds these games boring and confusing though so he doesn't stream them much

9:08 When you said "Trebuckets" referring to "Trebuchet", I doubted myself for a second because I never pronounced it or heard anyone pronounce it this way, and I had to double check that it is pronounced "Trehboshay" 😂😂

he says it like that because that is how Xqc pronounces it. Xqc is not an intellectual (to put it lightly) and english isnt is first language so he doesn't know pronounciations sometimes.

English is so OP they have a lot of ways to play and their defense is just sick. You need to be 2x better to win vs english late game. Thats so stupid.

it absolutely is, thats why so many players play english. they come with early longbow push or knight which is hard to defend as a mediocre player. in the meantime the english economy grows and grows while building a massive defense with white twr and berkshire. plus white tower spawns siege

haha drongo. Hello from Canada, the c and f are same temperature at -40 . -40 is a temperature I often experience in my winter months, January and February, but right now I'm melting at just over 30c haha.

the Swabia idle caused him the game... His infrastructure would have been much bigger if he had 40 vills pumped out in Age 4. Then his production switch would be much better

Sorry i have to say it - i know im probably much worse than X, but he did so many mistakes. Failed to control Prelats or produce them in advance, failed of about at least 1 more safe relic, failed to use the Swabia nearly the complete time, loses every bombard to Springdale’s despite the fact he had 3 calvs. Disturbing to watch 😢

Probably using control groups for buildings instead of Select All Town Centers hotkey, and not adding Swabia to the control group. He still have been making vills from the capital TC, but not from Swabia.

i have to say this: xQc is not good(yet) but because he can sit 24 hours every day just pumping out rating, hes now diamond, i am stuck in gold because i can only do maximum 3 games in a row and its always 2/3 wins one day, 1/3 wins the next. I’ve seen 3-4 games from him, and now in diamond i can’t believe he got here with all the noob mistakes he keeps doing. So it must be his many games that generate over time.

Cant believe that in diamond level you get prelates standing next to the relics, mangos being completely unprotected, poor micro of springalds, mid trading, not use of swabia after 10 minutes, all sounds super bronze haha

There is not much difference between diamond and bronze. Only real difference is that diamond players will make units and attack their opponent while bronze players don't.

Xqc got to diamond very fast through sheer apm, he hasn't learned the game or what any civilizations other than English or hre do, and all the things you've mentioned. Once he does he's pretty much near conqueror level.

@@crimo1692 I mean he's been playing for a month already but he gets relics, makes swabia, and then trades. also you say he got to diamond through apm but he got regnitz at 9 mins which isn't very fast. I think he's just gotten lucky from matchmaking and sheer brute force

He might be a bit elo inflated with this strat but he is better than a decent amount of people talking smack in this comment section. I see the same thing in other ranked games. Lower ranked players always try to belittle other people who are higher ranked meanwhile if you watch their gameplay, you would see way more stupid mistakes. He definitely seems around plat level and not bronze/gold like people are saying.

@@ujjgvu I mean that he knows how to micro his units well, the more advanced stuff like being under pressure on your production and not making more production builds in the back is something he hasn't learned, stuff like that. He also hasn't learned what any of the civs do, he doesn't deny deer against rus for example. It's not hard to get to diamond in this game, beyond that it is. Tho he got to diamond once and has already fallen down, it was obvious he would not stay there at his current knowledge of the game.

So the x hasn't really climbed the ladder. he's made just under 200 elo in the last few months, which isn't that much at that lvl. It's also surprising to me how he still lost it from 19:15 onwards
