This game is the most fun I’ve had in an FPS in years

People are shitting on this game like crazy, I don't play many shooters, but honestly this is one of the few shooters I find myself wanting to come back to. My friends joined the beta test and we're having fun. This game isn't meant to be run-of-the-mill team based, its in a class of its own owing to the destruction mechanics, the special canisters, special events, and everything else. I hate that people are so quick to judge it for not being like COD or Overwatch. Its new and exciting in my book, the music, the graphics, and the gameshow aesthetic really does it for me. Sure it has balancing issues, but damn, isn't it at least a breath of fresh air compared to what the gaming industry has given us in the past decade?

This game has a really good chance at being an above average fps if the devs stay motivated. But the closed betas burnt a lot of people out with optimization and balancing issues. Really hope they didn't give up on the major problems and release something half baked

Mirrors edge meets overwatch, that meets Team Fortress, that meets counter strike... But I don't really care negatively if the game looks like others, I just want a fun game that works.

I literally cannot wait for this game. Ever since playing the beta it's been the only game on my mind. The FPS world has been so stale lately with every big company shitting on their newest games (you know who you are) and The Finals is a breath of fresh air. It has the best aspects of every popular FPS game mashed into one. Call of duty gunplay, apex movement, OG battlefield destruction, overwatch teamplay...AND it's going to be free to play. I'll be balls deep in this game on day one.

The problem is all the pros are ridiculously trying to criticize the game as if it’s a BR or a simple tdm. It isn’t. This is a very unique game I’d say and it’s something they aren’t used to. They’re used to getting kills to win, but this game isn’t focused on kills. It’s focused on the objectives. 🤷🏽‍♀️BR has ruined gaming for these people.

This game is the best FPS I've seen in years.

Its super fun but damn I need to reprogram myself for this speed, super fast renderer too for a ray tracing elections and GI, fully destructable environments. They really came from Dice/battlefield.

This game is missing something in the movement aspect, you have so much vertical jumping power, but nothing else really. Would be nice to have a double jump for distance and a wall run for horizontal speed/movement.

You can be REAAALLLLLY creative in this game! if you don't like turrents, emp grenade/mines! or use a bubble gun to block the view! you can stick c4 and other explosives on chairs and even the gas canisters for EXTRA FIREPOWER! There's a ton of really cool tips and tricks out there

I installed the game and had a 13.4 hour session on it. Absolutely love the game. Loving the no SBMM matchmaking for a change (Although I feel that is something that will not stay since they have to babysit casuals who refuse to improve).
