Love the look of the Enkei's on the ute. Master stroke buying suspension arms and bits with the bushes already inserted. Bring on the boost.

I recently put these wheels (brand new) on my FG turbo ute. 17" Enkei RPF1. Had them powder coated in 'Hawaiian Teal' over 'Alien Silver'. They weigh 7.2kg per rim.

they are great wheels and light as for a non forged wheel. they are almost identical weight as TE37 for half the price. only downside is that they are very common because of this

I put a Whiteline swaybar kit on my Tornado- that made the biggest difference in the arse of rhe car, really cut back on that diff/ body movement

As a Yank unfamiliar with this car: Interesting front suspension. Kinda looks like a BMW X5; strut, with separate spindle and upper control arm. Brakes look like PBR, as used on SN95 Mustangs. Rear is Leaf?! Does the Falcon sedan use a LRA or IRS? Car stance looks really good with Enkei wheels and new rubber.

Yeah the rear had leaf springs so it had a good payload, not much use for a tray if it can’t carry anything! That’s what’s so stupid about Holden utes, all that space but they can’t carry anything

rear needs way more work to be useable. tramp rods are a must. nothing else will stop the leaf wrap. and a swaybar to stop the rear roll

Changing all the bushes and control arms was a must, you will be glad it's not a sedan and have to do diff bushes. Not a fan of your wheel choice at all

Falcons have always been known to be more comfortable to drive and ride in, plus they go forever with a little tlc. All cars have their weak points, but the falcon is no where near as bad as has been described here. This kind of thinking has been like this for a while, if you remember how they ripped on the other Falcon they stripped down to just a frame and made it a skid pan car.

pmsl @ leaf springs in this day and age. FFS Ford, it won’t add much to the cost to fit modern suspension. It is the 21st Century after all 😂

There is a reason why Ford was still able to provide customers with a true 1 tonne Falcon ute and why Holden could only ever rate their max payload at about 400kg...can give you a hint but your probably not that smart to understand why

Few wheels can "fix" a shitbox design like rpf1's. Not saying this ute is one. It's actually a great design which the previous wheels broke. Saying the 20's were for looks is like pouring catpiss in miso saying it's for flavour. The rpf1's on the other hand could be thrown on even the worst designs in history and make them wayyyyyyy better.
