Nice review! One suggestion: if you're going for heavy re-use, Eneloop rechargeable batteries are definitely worth considering, especially for short-length videos. They hold 2000mAh vs Duracell's 2400mAh so definitely not as long lasting powerwise. BUT duracells are only good for 400 recharges or less vs eneloop's 2,100 recharges. I have never had an eneloop fail, and have had many duracell fail well below 100 recharges. Love your content!

Project farm tested a bunch and duracell was good after 700 cycles if not the best choice. Energizer and eneloop are on the test but less mah.

Sweet! I recently got permission to put my current main trail cam up at the office since I figured out where the bear den is. This will be useful for selecting the secondary.

My Folgtek does not have the side detectors, but I have found that the detector does work over a very long distance, as it was set off by passing school buses on the other side of the river.

Thanks Jpol. P.S. many times i click on the next video at the end of the one im watching and then have to come back to leave my comment. I don't know if that helps or hurts your numbers overall because most won't come back to comment. Just something to think about. Have them watch another video or leave a comment? It's Up to you! Oh. Mmm, pork chitterlings!!! "Chittlins" down south. Pork intestines. They have to be boiled several times, changing out the water, to remove the poop smell before they can be prepared for eating. I've never had any, but Chittlins are legendary down south

I have a family of beavers that come over a levee in to my lake.They eat trees that I have just planted…getting to be expensive. I placed a game cam just like the one on the left to establish where the beavers are going when they leave my property.
@post.10
@post.10 2 года назад
Try putting chicken wire around the base of the trees or other similar metal tree surround. Public areas that have beavers in their pawns often do this so they can keep the beavers and the trees
@BilltheTulaneGuy
@BilltheTulaneGuy 2 года назад
The big daddy beaver pulled the wire off and took the tree. Now they have removed the bark from the base of a sycamore… I found their entry and exit point so I will treat the pests accordingly.

I hope you have a really good cleaner for your car. Chitterlings stink to high heaven, especially in a hot car. On top of that, they're gross. I'm not surprised only bugs were interested! Also, we make videos for advertising purposes at my workplace. We only use SanDisk and rechargeable lithium ion batteries. We get both from Amazon.

This is the perfect segue from your last video. I'm very surprised though that you've never heard of chitlins. Maybe they are more of a southern thing. I think poorer people who used to eat EVERY bit of the animal came up with eating them. I've never had the "pleasure". And I never will! Google them. Lol

You should really buy an electronic charger that treats the batteries more gently and can charge all types. Don't forget to charge them every 3 months when not in use and never over-discharge! Also I found 8 Batteries with 3600mAh for a bit more than 10 bucks. For the long time run you need Batteries which are not discharging themself. LSD-Accu (low self-discharge)

For a purchase like that after you match specs and think you're gonna checkout wait and read the entire warrant info but most all contact customer service by phone if you can and ask what the refund policy is. Calling is a better way to judge service and any refund questions you can ask them all at once and not play the email tag game.

Yep, chitterlings are large intestines, I believe, as the small intestine is used for sausage casing. To prepare them they usually soak them several times AFTER running water through the intestines to get the remaining poop out. Supposedly they are an acquired taste and still smell like, uh, butt, after they are cooked.

so more woodpecker bird houses are needed? Would commercial ant traps knock down the population? Recall being swamed by ants in a courtyard garden in an office building. Could not sit on the bench provided Put out 1 - 2 traps and problem went away.

I tried to get my property and people's properties I've worked on sprayed but there's no companies that are willing to spray the forest because they say the environmental impact would be greater then it's worth. Carpenter ants are considered natural even though they're very damaging. Most forest lately I've seen looks stressed and weak weather it be bugs or climate issues. Woodpeckers make there own holes to live in usually.

Yes I did try using ant bait stations but there's just too many, every tree has them basically. I was at the Home Depot a few months back and they had cockroach bait stations which can also be used for ants they will take the bait. $0.10 each bought about 20 of them. Yes it did seem to work but not for long

Hey post 10, got a question. i bought the trail cam and just tried it out. it looks like once the camera sensor is triggered, it makes videos until it runs out of memory or battery. i was hoping to get one video per sensor trigger. i had the camera set to make a 10 second video and in an hour or so, it made 87, 10 second videos. for clarity, i am trying to see how it works as a cheap security camera too. that's why i want the one sensor trip, one video, not 87.

i figured out why the a262's lose the time and date, they have bad battery connections. if you bump the camera it will shut off for a second and it will reset the time and date to default, even when you close them while strapped on the tree it is enough to jar the batteries and make the time and date reset some times. i emailed them company about the battery connection problem, but never got a response back from them. you can check, just put the camera on set, and bump it around with your hand it little bit, or roll the batteries in their slots, it will turn off and come back on.
