DommeDamian I’m not sure if you understand how this industry works, but if an artist samples another song, they need to get permission from the original artist, and then pay them their royalties, and there’s no way in hell that Empire would be able to clear like all 90 of his sampled songs. My opinion is that this album and the other post-humous album that X’s label put out are just completely disgusting and unacceptable. They are using a dead man for money and slandering his reputation in the process. Edit: X is not the best artist but I think he could’ve had potential.
