This album sounded incomplete. It's almost as if he died before he could finish it.

2 good tracks in total, Very unfortunate. Opinions about x aside I think everyone can agree, if he was still alive im sure this wouldn't have been put out in such a state. Hopefully the vocals will be dropped alone and the underground can mix and produce this album much better.

train food is such a scary song to me honestly. he raps about being 30 min away from home, and the bike shop he was killed at is 30 min away from his home in flordia. he says that he will die on the train tracks, and across from the bike shop are... train tracks. whole thing is spooky.

Im only disappointed because they didn't use the original artwork. They just threw the original in the trash and made something in adobe sparks.

This pisses me off, on how inhumane the music industry is. At this rate all that’s going to happen for X is nothing but people releasing unfinished and half assed tracks and hooks until there is nothing less for them to release. The same happened to Tupac, all they did was milk his name and voice until there was literally nothing left for them to publicly release. I’m not even an X fan but this is simply inhumane and wrong. I'm fan X to the core. I still enjoy the album and have been vibing it non stop since release lol. But I do understand where the disappointment from all the hype is coming from. I feel that if it was still in X's hands, tracks would have been. Replaced or Altered. This was a bit of a let down for people that were expecting much more but its still enjoyable

X's vision for the album was always for it to be short. He always said it was only for his core fans, it was his style all the way. The songs aren't incomplete, it's how hes always written songs. The whole vibe of the album is supposed to be spacey, in terms of sound, theres not much to the instrumental, but all the songs have their meanings and do what they're intended to do. Also the clip hes talking about where x "fucked her up" was taken out of context, almost immediately after its cut off he says he never played a hang her. Overall I'm not saying hes not allowed to dislike the album, but he was saying it was incomplete even though it was x's vision. It was never an album for everyone, that's why the album has a bitter sound, only x's main fans would be able to appreciate it, if that means he didn't like the sound of it that would be fine, bit he repeatedly said it was incomplete when it is very much complete.

When this came out unfinished and unmastered I was incredibly disappointed. No doubt a cash-grab by his label and everyone else working on the album. At least we got Train Food out of it.

Through all your X reviews you brought up his abuse allegations several times, but I don't think you ever got the full picture or tried to. The audio pitchfork released was a framed soundbite from a 28 minute recording. If you listen to the full thing, he says he didn't touch her in it. The media constantly tried to slander him and people assumed he was guilty based on headlines.

If I was an artist who had teased an album on Instagram and then I died, I would want the album released.

i don't get why x fans can't just accept people can have opposing opinions on music (especially considering how polarizing x was both as a musician and a person) while i enjoyed his soundcloud material, like his 2015-2016 songs and EP's, when he signed and started producing studio albums (17, ?, skins), he became an extremely mediocre musician, whose fanbase only supported him because he was "deep". and it was never like the whole aggressive/depressing rap style people associate him with was what he made or revolutionized, he just followed what underground musicians like bones or sybyr were doing at the time, and just got lucky to get successful. he's received this status as a legend by younger music listeners despite not having that much consistent quality, not having been around that long, nor really coming up with a new style.

People are starting to appreciate this album more in the wake of what was Bad Vibes Forever. Multiple listens on any album helps.

I apologize in advance for my english. I'm so angry about this album. I agree almost with all that u said. And i really like "train food" too. Experimental minimalistic sound, dark and unusual vibe. The best track of the album. And in spite of the fact that it actually was not x's album, many of these song's melodies could have become really great. But i don't know how many of these are REAL and finished. They just wanted to strech it as long as possible! Short bars permanent repeating, raw instrumentals, just sketches! Even in "bad". Am i the only one who noticed it? That beat so simple and there is no development. They reversed "Jocelyn flores" to show us like it's still the same X with these Shiloh's choruses. Fuck that! That's the desecration. I can't listening to this without knowing that it belongs to X. They're just making money! It should have been the best x's work ever as he said, but unfortunately that hasn't been the case.
