This sounds great - and is further evidence along with other opinions that multiple (sometimes quite a few) brands coming out of a distillery doesn’t necessarily have to be a bad thing. Coming primarily from a whisk(e)y background, I’m fascinated how some distilleries build out separate areas for different brands to be made at their location and I’m interested if that’s also the case here. Cheers
No, that is not the case here. What distilleries are you talking about? If you are talking about producto fino, they didn't build out the other areas but instead just provided the land. The rest are owned by those brands individually and not affiliated with producto fino at all.
@@TheTequilaHombre To be honest I can't exactly call up any at the moment I'm typing this but I remember either on Tequila Matchmaker or Taste Tequila there being mention that at least some of the distilleries that produce numerous brands will build out an area for that brand to be distilled and produced out of, which should give it its own NOM. Perhaps Productos Finos is the only one that does that though and I'm mistaken (which is probably the case).
@@williamc5874 It's a Mis-understanding. Producto fino has nothing to do with the brands that built distilleries on their land. Think of it like a strip mall for distilleries. They own the land but each distillery owns their own equipment and has their own staff and Producto Fino has nothing to do with the production of their tequila. At least that is what they told us.
Great review! If possible would you be able to do a review of any from the Fuenteseca line? I’ve always heard great things about them and have been interested in picking up a bottle.
Thanks for the comment. You can find the Fuenteseca Cosecha review already on the channel. I have done that already. I will add an aged expression soon. Thanks for watching!
Terry.. I haven't heard that. It might be a new batch of the Cosecha since it's been 7+years since the last one (2013) . Agave should be ready to go. 😁👍
In the last live someone mention lalo and champagne yeast when tasting this tequila at he tequila fest this one which was not my taste profile and was the one I did not enjoy from the good brands. Does Lalo have similar taste was going to order with the number juan repo.
I have seen this one online a couple of times and wondered about it. I'm going to get some on my next order. Sounds like something I would like. Thanks for the great review!
Another great review Mark. This one seems very different in terms of how it's made. Champagne yeast? Wow. I'll have to keep an eye out for it. Sounds like it would be interesting to sip on.
@@J_brown3 I most likely will. You can join the collective if you want to get in on the buy. Just join the discord membership listed on some of the descriptions of the newer videos.
