Your tasting is spot on with this one! Now that you mention Flan I can completely agree with you! I was trying to think about what that flavor was like and Flan is it! I love this reposado. Thank you so much for your great reviews. I LOVE THIS CHANNEL!!

Awesome review. I really like your description of the nose on this one and the flavor profile. Flan??? Nice! I'll be looking to add this to my shelf for sure. Any tequila that tells you to "Take another Sip" is a must try for me lol.

I asked you to do a review on this before. I first had it at Churchills Cigar Bar in the Brown Palace Hotel in Denver. Really liked it but could not find it in New Mexico. Finally found it in California. Been enjoying for a couple of years now. Eventually need to partake of 1 and 3. Thanks for the review.

Finally, I feel comfortable enough to leave a comment as this is also one of my favorites. I usually rank this one number three behind Siete Leguas and Fortaleza. I wasn't as impressed with Diablito as I was this expression, but The Dos is great and deserves a spot in everyone's tequila collection.

Thanks Mark for another great review. 123 are top notch with the repo as my choice for the best of the bunch. What does it for me is the wonderful finish. Not sure if you have reviewed these but I would recommend Vida Tequila (1460), Frida Kahlo (1465) or the popular Chamucos from (1558). Cheers

@@JoseJimenez-hi5kj I bought the Reposado and I like it. It's got a toffee, ginger taste. I'm curious to see if Mark will detect any additives though. It's organic, so you wouldn't expect that kind of stuff, but who knows...

@@iess2006 I don't do aged mezcal. That's just a waste. You can always order the El Luchador on Ferment and Still. They ship to CO.

@@iess2006 Yeah. I don't drink aged mezcal. It's a waste of agave. Aging hides the natural flavors.

@@TheTequilaHombre thank you!! I really enjoy sweeter smooth tequilas with both flavors. It's seem I gravitate more towards anejos. I'm coming from bourbon and scotch. What sweeter tequila would you recommend with no additives? I really like the Michael Jordan tequila but I'm sure it has additives in it. It's way too good.

@@mikejohnson7067 Jordan's Tequila is loaded with additives. You are correct. Try San Matias gran reserva. It's aged in french oak and is naturally sweeter. I cam from Bourbon as well.. Try blancos as well, you will love them.

This is one I differ with Mark on. I chased a bottle down a couple of months ago. Found the vanilla almost overpowering. At $54 in OH, I won't buy again. I prefer G4, El Tesoro or Siete Leguas, each if which I have on the shelf now.

Sorry to hear you didn't like it. We all like different things. All of the ones you mentioned are also very good bourbon barrel aged reposados. This is new oak toasted so you will get more of the natural wood flavorings.. Salud!

Oddly, when I do aging at home using beyond barrels staves, my favored stave is the toasted oak.

El luchador is different brand made in the highlands at a different distillery and is rested in White burgundy barrels from France versus American white oak barrels like 123 is. El luchador repo is absolutely amazing!

Sounds like G4 Repo and Azunia Repo need to make room on your shelf for 123 Repo. Good to have great repo options.

Definitely. This ranks right up there with the G4 but G4 definitely has more bourbon in the flavor profile. I like this for it's presentation of agave and light wood. Absolutely delicious!
