I did this upgrade today on my 440 and it works great. I also bought the connectors to install another one on the generator but the adaptor did not fit. I need to do some more research.
I also used a Yacht Device converter to put the fuel tank on the SeaTalkNG network. I now have fuel level with the engine info. On the electrical side, I just installed a XANTREX LinkLITE Battery Monitor. I had one on my old boat and I really liked it. I really enjoy your videos, keep them coming.
yachtdevicesus.com/collections/engine-gateways/products/engine-gateway-ydeg-04?variant=6391168663594 You need the ydeg-04R for the Raymarine. You will also need the adapter harness for the yanmar yachtdevicesus.com/collections/engine-gateways/products/adapter-cables-for-ydeg-04-engine-gateways?variant=13813393424426 A 3 meter sea talk backbone cable (the blue one) and a sea talk Tee connector. I also used some wire holders I bought off Amazon to hold the cables up. Let me know and I’ll send a link.
Yanmar changed over to a LCD gauge the YD25 for an upgrade you can get the YD42 which is a color 4”mfd. The YD42 will output NMEA2000 at the unit . Both still receive the J1939 protocol. My 2021 440 came with the YD25
I would like to connect the engine of my 419 because the rev counter screen is getting dark. I saw the indications you gave. I ask you if the temperature and/or oil pressure alarms are also transmitted from the Raimaryne screen (Yammar Del Engine assistance tells me that not all the alarms pass).
