Since 2019, Yale students have been “learning the ropes” in Yale Club Jump Rope, one of 50 club sports offered to undergraduate and graduate students through Yale Athletics, and among the newest ones. In the club, participants master the challenging skills of turning the ropes (and often more than one rope simultaneously, as well learning new jumping “tricks.” Members of the club hail the sport for being a high cardio activity as well as an exercise that demands being in sync with fellow jumpers and rope twirlers.
