You have showed me soo much about my bws before your vids i knew little now i feel confident enough to do the work myself and actually enjoy doing it thanks dude much appreciated
I know nothing about you or your channel but as I listen to you speaking it is clear to me you are Canadian. I believe this because I live in the one place in the lower 48 where I look due south to see Canada.
i put that side stand on my scooter but it wants to push it up and fall over any suggestions on what you did to get yours to stay and also how to prevent it rolling away on a hill as there is no brake lock like on quads I've seen. just did my transmission oil change i was 6k km overdue didn't even realize i had one and when i bought scooter it had 400km on it from 2004. it was all green and smelled burnt. currently waiting for new exhaust to come in and i have a new aftermarket variator kit to give it some extra speed if i can find someone to modify it as i am not a mechanic. its a bws 50 2 stroke and i run strawberry scented motor oil
About a month ago I put a new carburetor in my 2005 Yamaha bws and it was running a lot better. Recently I put a new variator, heavier rollers and a new belt in but it made it run slower and worse. Do you know why?
Quick question, loved your video. I changed mye son’s clutch and Variator and now the scooter won’t start. The ignition seems to do it’s job. But won’t start. Any suggestions on what to look? Sparkpkug, cable, gaz?
Hey! I’m looking into some problems I’m trying to fix with a bw 50 2012. For instance when I start it and leave running on the stand, it should idle at a normal speed, but the rear wheel runs really fast… I was wondering if you know or would show in a future video how to adjust the idle speed
Easiest first step is to check the functionality of the button by making sure it has continuity when pressed. You were there wanna work your way down the wires looking for any brakes and then finally verifying the starter motor to make sure it’s spins when 12 V of power is applied.
