Mine genuinely blew up today (not really, just died and on inspection the rings gave away and took a chunk out of the side of the piston. Nothing exploded or anything. Just lost power. FUN TIMES :(
Hi , can you tell me if the power valve cables are different ( like length or thickness ) ? One of them broke on my bike and it's shorter than the other , but online i only found one cable size for purchase.
Use some epoxy metal paste to fix your case near clutch arm i did on mine all tho ive had load's of dtr since i was younger & they always seem to break in the same place i used super steel from halfords if you're a Leeds lad then use your local halfords store or better still gets some of ebay for about £2 china brand it'll take ten years to get too you tho lol
@@hp11000 right & always remember they are different kinds of pullers for the dt125r dt125re mines a 02 model & it requires a 3 way puller if you'res has a cdi box on your oil tank on the front then you'll need a 3 way puller buddy
@@CaptainCharisma2907 110 is good for a 125cc if you're looking for more speed then i suggest Anthea 170cc big cylinder kit with a bigger carburetor but doubt it will last long if you dont give it a new crankshaft or rebuild you could take out your air filter guide & do away with the snorkel but i like not to mess with things like that but that can course cylinder wear & other problems but thats down to you if you want to do that or maybe port the cylinder barrel then that's down to you their is load's of stuff you can do with them but id be happy with 110mph for a 125
@@CaptainCharisma2907 maybe your power valve is half shut then will need adjusting if it has a servo moter or if its a newer model then you'll need your wire earthing off from behind your speedo pal

@@tifi7160 Use double sided wrench , but you have to use the star side , and you have to punch the wrench with a hammer, this cause an impact effect. Try it, i do this many time, in countrside , near the road :D :/ so ,yes you can do it !! But you must jam the sprocket with a screwdriver to the side case !!
