I was a beginner when I started with my present motorcycle, the Yamaha FZ fi V3. As a rider who moved from a scooter to a motorcycle I thoroughly enjoy the motorcycling experience especially in riding Yamaha's entry level motorcycle. I would always recommend this motorcycle to anyone who desires to learn to ride a motorcycle and to all those who would rather enjoy the ride over the speed.
The 2019 Yamaha FZ V3 does 80 kmph at around 6000 rpm in 5th gear. This is the rpm at which engine makes peak torque of 12.8Nm. For any vehicle the speed achieved when engine makes peak torque is the maximum speed with respect to engine efficiency. It makes peak power of 13.2PS at 8000 rpm which would translate to 106kmph speed. This speed is the maximum speed when engine is operating outside its peak efficiency. Any speed beyond this can be achieved with a favorable tail wind or slight down hill road or could be speedometer calibration error. In general for long distance cruising with any vehicle it would be advisable to ride it within the rpm at which engine makes peak torque. In my view 80kmph would be safe speed for this vehicle.
I just tried 115 speed today, bought this bike in 2019 but never tried high speed I was amazed even in that speed bike not shaking noise also cool ❤️❤️

Gixxer have gear shifting issue apache have vibration and looks ugly ,hornet have pickup and maintenance isssue but fz v3 just awsome.... Without any complaints

Just bought this baby a week ago and had done 200+ kms on it but lately I realised that there is a an unusual sound coming out of engine and also my bike vibrates when the speedometer touches 80 + Km/ hr. Anyone facing the same issues?

Hi strell!!! Love your videos!! Just had a question for you! Is it!!! Like the internet and even you in your previous video said that it's cruising speed is 80-90kmph. So is it safe to ride it at 3 digit speeds, or will that cause any harm to the bike? Just a new FZ owner asking this😅
Can we cruise at 90 kmph comfortably on this bike without putting a lot of stress on the bike? If yes, I will buy bike FZS If no, I will buy FZ 25 bike Experienced owners please let me know
The nice road stretch you chose for your speed attempts was slopey😋 Understand nice road, Bangalore itself is such that you don't find a proper flat surface.. it's only slopey roads either ways..

For long distance touring sf will be better option. Apache 1604v comes second than comes hornet and at last fzs v3. Sf comes first because of the added fareing which will reduce windblast and end of the day you will still ready to roll. On saying that the order will change if you add aftermarket wind shield, 1. Apache, 2nd would be gixxer, 3rd would hornet and lastly fzs v3.
@@subhadeep_apd8320 ....took long test rides just yesterday and even i have been riding these bikes owned by my friends....gixxer seat is very uncomfirtable...same with hornet but better than gixxer ....fz's seat is best ...followed by xblade ...windblast is least in sf i agree but also less in xblade ...only thing thats missing in xblade is top end performance ....but thats almost in all the bikes except apache 4v... Soo I think xblade would b best choice here ...cant go with tvs ...poor durability and after sale services of tvs & bajaj
@@joychakravorty924 to be honest i did tour on fz v3 from delhi to dheradun around 250 km...nd i m happy to say the bike did well...i felt no issues regarding comfortable...the handling nd stability were pretty good in hilly areas compare to apache 160 4v...the only issue i felt is of power....bt keep this aside... mileage i got 44km/ltr... overall i m happy with my fz v3...

When slowing down from high speeds yes both must be applied judiciously. But in start stop traffic I only use the rear brakes. As a rule I keep my right foot always planted over the rear brakes just in case the vehicle up front makes a sudden stop.
Only 118? After 1st service of my FZS v3 I have tried for highest speed, gone up to 113 and then I have to slow cause of heavy traffic. I guess it will go beyond 125 easily.
Bro.....how do u get so many motorcyles for reviews.....like im too passionate about riding and testing out different motorcyles...but confused as to how to get them and what it takes to experince as many as motorcyles possible...any suggestion on that from ur side...
Same top speed as old fz ! Bike is good for looks and average.. But if you want performance in this segment then Go for Apache 1604v hands down 🙌 also it is cheaper than this !
Hi I just wanted ask a question. Yesterday I got my FZS V3 so while starting the bike the ABS light comes on but while riding the ABS light goes off. So is the ABS still working or something is wrong. Looking forward to ur reply
It's just to show that abs system is working all fine before you start your ride... Once you start it goes off.. read user manual and everything is explained there.
Hello sir. My weight is 85 kgs and I'm 5.7 feet tall (I'm fat). I'm looking to buy pulsar rs 200 because of its posture and considering that it's an all rounder. But will r15 v3 be comfortable for me? The posture i mean. I'm a little confused with it and also, rs 200 is a heavy bike. Will it be fine for me? Request you for a reply. Thanks :)
I'm 5'11"ft and i've ridden my freind's r15 v3. It has a very agressive riding stance(more aggresive than the v2) just like a moto GP. I recall having a lower back pain and wrist pain in 10-15mins of riding it, though the back pain was managable but the wrist pain was something that i had to constantly ride with one hand and free up the other. Maybe coz i'm used to riding an upright bike. But the engine is the best thing you can get in this price range. My advice is to take a test ride, maybe it's suitable for you.
