Its funny i have nothing done to my Gtx 300 limited and still beats Yamahas 1800 cc . I still need to know why Seadoo only using 1630 cc and Yamaha needs 1800 and still loses or even ties it . Why do they need more Cubic inches to compete

@@briangreenfield7236 Maybe Yamaha could chip a few extra horsepower out of the computer, but don't want to because that way their products keep on going and going without blowing up the engine, topdeck and the riders. So no seapoo for me.

Don’t get me wrong I like the RTX and I’m still debating between the 2022 GP or RTX. Stock for stock the RTX is a hair quicker, but tuned those GP 1800R are mad fast. Amaral TV my ski isn’t tuned. It just has a stage 1. There’s no stage 1 Yamahas on my lake. I raced a stage 3+ fzr when it was but haven’t raced when it’s smooth (ik he will win running 90). But I’m making a video today racing a stage 1 RXP. And as soon as I find a stage 1 GP i will race it. It’s just no one on my lake has moded skis

That sea-doo is running closer to it's threshold on a closed loop system, if you unlock both skis the Yamaha will take over every time with that 1800cc engine. The sea-doo will fail far sooner. Seen it twice. Both sea-doos had rod knock. I bet those Yamahas weren't '18+ svho's either.

Yogie haven’t had a single problem with my seadoo at 152 hours

@@Jetskiracingchannel, idk, I've met 4 people who have had issues. Spanning from 30 hours to 220 hours it's something I'll never buy. I hope it was a fluke. My Honda aquatrax has 670 hours on it and not a single problem with the engine. Even got flooded and still running strong. I wish your endeavors the best of luck though.

Seadoo much better performance stock for stock. I’ve actually seen 3 brand new Yamaha FX SVHO’s all fail due to engine head cracking. Whole engine had to be rebuilt. The stereotype that Yamaha’s are the most reliable PWC’s is definitely not true.

So depending on what kind of stage 1. My seadoo is running a riva racing stage 1. So for Yamaha riva racing stage 1 they say the top speed is 77

@@Jetskiracingchannel My 2018 GP1800 does 76 mph gps with stage 1 tune with no other mods, with a Solas 13-18 impeller it was faster from the start same top speed. Riva recommends 13-20 for stage one. I now have stage two mods but too cold to test. I have never raced an rxt but did race a 2017 rxp with stage 1 and the gp was faster from the start and top end. If I were closer to you I would have jumped at the opportunity to race an rxt.

@@dwaynef17046 yes the 2020 and older rxp bull design is a lot slower than the new RXT design. Not sure about the 2021. But yea I don’t have a tune or impeller I only have the governor taken off. If you ever come to the area I’d love to race for a video

The rooster tail is just a Yamaha trademark, in the manual they call it a "visibility spout". We've plugged ours because if you cruise on idle with the wind in your back you get showered.

SprayOnButter it works great. I use it when I race other guys with launch control and if I use it on any Yamahas it’s game over

@@Jetskiracingchannel on your ski the tops of the handle bars and around the glove box are the same gloss black mine has on the front near the compartment I didn't realize yours has more of a carbon/grey accent through that area. The gloss seems to swirl really easily

Unknown Name so I’m not sure. I know it’s also governed at 70 mph but the seadoo RXT 300 has launch control which will start faster than any other ski. And the 310 doesn’t have breaks or any of the luxuries that the seadoo has

Unknown Name people say the Kawi is the fastest but I’ve never raced one and the Yamaha or seadoo compared to Kawasaki ratio is a big difference. No one really buys Kawasaki just because the lack of technology

But I can’t compare a refresh from 2 different companies bc that’s already tuned and everything. Yamaha also has a map tuner for stage 1 I don’t

@@Jetskiracingchannel rxp is not slower than the rxt. your rxt is like the yamaha FX both have the same motor has their race machines rxp and gp1800r respectively. but the rxt and fx are larger and handle rough water better. i agree with part of your second statement but the results show more about the machine then your test because it showed the opposite of what one might expect. both machines can get a reflash that removes limiter and tunes for the individual machines exact set up.

We test it when it’s smooth in the morning. The lake gets pretty busy to where going full speed it’s hard to hang on. But my channel isn’t about how good I can ride in rough water. It compares the jetskis top speed in smooth water when most people do speed test. Thansk tho

So they didn’t change anything with the RXT for 2021 except for the colors . They did re design the RXP completely tho

@@da1stuna nah he didn’t actually. I had a 2017 rxp I bought at the end of 2017 and it sank due to the carbon seal so seadoo made it right and I got a new machine. Thanks for your input tho

Parrot Head he also has a free flow exhaust. For seadoo that’s a stage 2. I’ve hit 78 on gps when it’s cold out. Riva says on their site 77 for Yamaha stage 1 or there is a stage 1 + option which is more like a stage 2 compared to seadoo

Ocean Guy my stage 1 is just riva racing it’s not a reflash. I don’t know anyone with a stage 1 Yamaha. I only know one other guy with a stage 1 seadoo rxp and we are racing soon. But as soon as I find some faster skis I’ll race them

That’s just opinion when it comes to riding in the rough it’s just a matter who has the biggest set of ONIONS and who can hold on the longest !! As long as you enjoying yourself life is good 👍🏻👍🏻

GL do you lose a little speed from spring time to the hot summer my ski was running 74/75 over a month ago now it’s 71/72 water much warmer air temp 20 plus degrees warmer

Ocean Guy yes I do. The heat makes all skis slower. But the humidity, altitude, and water temp and air temp all play a roll. My performance shop told me the best time to get the best speeds was in late September or October or even early November

kyleoffthecobb there are no other GPs on my lake much less a modded one. There’s only one other modded seadoo on my lake and it’s my friend. As soon as I find a stage 1 GP I will race it. I did a stock GTX vs stock GP should be posting it tonight so stay tuned

@@Jetskiracingchannel I dont know much about jet skiis but more about outboards. I have always owned an evinrude (brp) and it has been really reliable and nice. Ofc as evinrudes are 2 strokes, people dont believe in them and well... you know what happened to them :/ Shit marketing. But they were, and still are really powerful, reliable and good overall outboards. The power of 2 strokes and all the other benefits :')

Im not sure what a governor delete does on that particular pwc but, i know what it does to the old gas golf carts. Makes the little fuckers run like 32 mph when they used to go 16. Besides, if it doesn't make any difference, why would you spend $200? Im a blue letter master Ford mechanic, i have my own automotive fabrication shop where i build drift/time attack cars, pre runners, cross carts, and insanely fast Yamaha R1s. My 2020 R1m and my brothers 2020 zx10 were dead nuts even all the way to 196 mph. I unlocked my ecu, had it tuned, and now when i click 2nd gear i start to walk away. My point is, doing things that improve the performance of a machine Does one thing, makes it perform better. Soooo, how can you justify your claim that deleting the governor isnt the reason you pulled on him a little?? Im not trying to be a typical internet fuck tard, im NOT a typical internet fuck tard. Im just pointing out that "smoking" someone i believe is defined by a thorough ass kicking. Also, in order to get accurate results testing which machine is faster out of the box, both machines shoud be out of the box prepped. Stage 1 on a Yamaha is 77. Mine runs 79 and has faster acceleration than a stage 1 Yamaha

@@Jetskiracingchannel my yahmaha true stage 1 says 81 on speedometer and 78.5 on GPS. all skis show 2-3 more than true speed. Always test with gps to be accurate.

They don’t ride as good as the GP tho

Am not too sure this is an accurate statement. Wouldn't it mean the ST3 hull would be on the podium on the professional circuit. Past 4 years its been the 1800 and FX chassis.
