Can you please do a comparison video between Yamaha Genos2 and Montage M (SA voices)? We want to compare these side by side but. You touched on this a little towards the end of this video, but we vant to find out more about the automatic insertion of effects. Thanks.
In my opinion, the K2700 pianos are the best. Easily tweakable as you said. I have the K2700 and the biggest issue is that the interface is harder for people to get comfortable with, however... when you do get a handle on it, It blows everything else away. I am not a sound designer by any means , but for integration into a midi rig and controlling other modules the Kurzweil architecture is fairly easy to learn and extremely effective. I stopped buying Roland boards a while ago as I never liked their pianos at all. But.. Roland is great for other things.. EPs for sure. Thanks for these comparisons, they make my decision not to buy the Montage more sure than ever. It's definitely not for me. 6000 sounds does not impress me and most users will NEVER EVER use 90% of those sounds in a real playable setting. Thank you !!
It is a completely personal choice. I have the Kurzweil and I have a Montage. I will take the pianos on the Montage any day. In fact, I leave the Kurzweil in my living room to practice on. Again - it is personal preference, but the Montage M is a powerhouse. I have this argument with a friend who is sponsored by Kurzwweil, and I bought the board on his recommendation. I then did what I should have done in the first place, which is buy another Montage. Lots of people swear by the Korgs. I have my preference.
I really appreciate you taking the time to make and record this comparison - but in order to really evaluate the sound differences you need to use direct recording. Recording the sounds via a smartphone or whatever this is - doesn't accurately indicate what they really sound like
Please review Akai keyboard in one video and in other video compare Yamaha genos with korg pa5x. You should compare best arranger like compare workstation that you did.

the original montage is bad quality sound compared to the new one! I just returned the new 88keys didnt like the action, so I ordered the 7...the sound quality makes the ole montage OBSOLETE!
