The brand new Yamaha R15M v4 is undoubtedly one of the best beginner Sportbikes in the country. And it’s latest guise is miles ahead of the KTM RC125, even with all the updates the orange bike has received for 2022. So we though why not pitch the new R15 against the latest version of the KTM RC200? Sure, it’s almost Rs 30,000 more expensive than the Yamaha, but with all the new updates, has become even friendlier to ride than before.
So Kartikeya, who originally reviewed the new Yamaha R15M v4, and Priyadarshan, who had tested the new KTM RC200 some months ago, decided to pit these two motorcycles head to head to find out which of these two deserves the “Best Beginner Sportbike” tag for 2022. In this comparison, we’ve not only evaluated these two on their performance and handling, but also how they handle everyday duties such as city riding and highway touring.
