You didn't look at it properly, the chassis looks pretty weak. Chassis breaking, back and bones breaking and need I say more about what it does to its deal?

I personally think all companies should look to make twin cylinder engines for their 400cc + motorcycles. These are highway machines, must be refined and powerful.
While you mentioned only Speed 400, it actually very well goes against Scrambler 400 X too. The end consumer does not really care so much about the strict definition of categories - what really matters is his budget, his needs and the fact that which bike pleases him most. A scrambler can commute, can go on twisties, can do soft roading and can very well ride on highways. A roadster does all the above roles too with varying degree of competence in different roles. A lot of cross shopping happens between different categories. To be fair, even Speed 400 competes with Scrambler 400X.
A perfect combination of power and weight and can be a very good option for city and weekend long rides. Colors are quite attractive and fun (IMO). RE should allow buyer to choose their own color. With a 30KMPL, 11 liter tank should be good enough for city rides. This bike has the potential of beating a lot of the competition. RE must rollout the dos and don'ts with the bike so people don't compromise the safety of the motorcycle with aftermarket accessories. Price should have been around 2.15 to 2.25Lakh to make the deal sweeter.

@@roshinsiby5390bro have you owned one? I have, and Speed 400 is amazing. Have owned one since the past 2 months and done 100 on it super comfortably, please dont listen to youtubers saying engine is strained or whatever because they were initially given very new bikes. After the first service Speed 400 has become much smoother and i would recommend you to do a test ride(test ride a used bike and not a new one) Guerrila seems like a pretty good deal but there is no reason to throw shade on one bike if the other is good
Very good review. It seems that the perfect motorcycle design was back in the 1960's. No matter how hard modern bikes try to to look good, non of them have the smooth ,full mudguard flowing shapes of the old motorcycles...just an opinion.
If only they had done the cost cutting on fuel tank capacity. It’s a pro and cons in a way. Less fuel & range cons less weight pro I dig the analog variant and have the budget for additional accessories
Tank size man ...what the use ...even when used as city bike one has to visit atleast twice a week...for highway ride after 150km one has to start searching for petrol pump...
Why is the silver color not available with TFT display? Looks much more serious and expensive than the color combinations. Think about a Ducati in such colors…
Looks almost same as other RE bikes, hardly any part in looks department. Although they have to do really more on the quality part and the problems with Himalayan still haunting their owners. Increase service cost but raise the quality bar.
This is India’s version of Ducati Scrambler with 1/2 the displacement and 1 less cylinder ☺️☺️ Lower height, smaller wheels & different sprocket. Smartly done RE 👍🏽👍🏽
Pillion seat should have been spacious and long, what is this with bike manufacturers skimping on Pillion seats, Motorcyle companies need to realise that in India bikes are used for multiple purposes including taking family members from point A to B, and we are not in Europe or US where motorcylcing is only a leisure activity.
The tank shape is a bit ugly to me, same was with the hunter.. looks small for a bike of this capacity.. they should learn the styling from cb350rs which still is the most good looking and provides premium feel .. I can think of buying this over speed 400 but the only reason would be no triumph dealer/service in my city and more accessible seat height as I am not a tall person else i am sure speed400 is a better bike.
Yes, Don't bother. I have a hunter 350. The seat height is 79 cm and I am 179 cm. The bike feels like a bike for kids. You need a bike with at least 83 cm. Triumph 400 scrambler is a better fit.
Doesn’t hold a candle to the competition - the triumph better quality and fit and finish. The Maverick and 440x much more cheaper than this highly priced unreliable (Himalayan 450 ref) bike. And RE thinking they could price this higher than the triumph has made this bike DOA
Looks minimalistic, functional and modern but least features among 450! missing USD front suspension and many others. I would definitely not buy it!!! So much disappointed!!!
