Now that makes sense, I’ve been working on my unit for over a year and this was never mentioned ones to me and I asked if there was a possibility of it having to much compression! 🤦🏻♂️
did this fix your problem? i have the same problem. im guessing my decomp pin is just wore out to the point of it not working as intended. did you replace just the pin, or the whole cam?
budzilla00 yes that fixed the problem it starts up every time without a problem I didnt have to replace whole camshaft only the decompression pin that cost me $9 for the pin and the spring fixed that problem
they are. i have quadruple checked at this point and this is exactly my problem how exactly do you replace the pin, i know how to pull the gear from the cam, but how do you extract the pin and spring?
Some one can help me with my raptor660 2005 I just changed the piston, the rings and the seal valves exhausted the clutch but when I finished the engine is running but very hard
