I perform a quick oil change on a Yamaha WR250F motorcycle to be ready for adventure.

@@viperracing2889 That’s curious. I would have assumed that in this day and age that most every engine would have some way of measuring the oil.

hey sir i wanted to know if the wr250f from 2007 is a good bike and if it cost a lot of money to make sure its clean the guy i want to purchase his bike had to rebuilt the engine ant it has cost 3000 dollars have you ever rebuilt your motor

I rebuilt my top end @ 6,500 miles. Parts - $125 Labor - DIY I’m not familiar with 2007 WR250F. Sorry

So does your bike have the map switch? I can’t find out if the US bikes come with it or not.

No, my bike did not come with the map switch. I have looked into it a bit and have been curious about adding that feature, but I’d like to make certain it could be mapped to have a little more low end torque. That would be good for the dual sport application I’m using the bike for. Adjusting the mapping of the engine with an app on a cell phone via Bluetooth would be nice.
