As long as the swing arm aligns up as it seems to that repair is fine. Those seals are for keeping dirt and water out of the steel bushes and normally you would torque up rubber bushes when the weight of the bike is on the suspension otherwise you will wear out your bushes but yours seem to move ok when you torqued them up The reverse on torque wrenches is for left hand threads. Had to laugh at your tires golden boy😂 The bar to the rear brake is called a torque arm. Make sure those bushes on the rear wheel aren't a different size.
You asked for an opinion so I will give it. 1 I believe as you do, however I would ride it myself with that and just keep checking it till I forgot I’d even done it. But I don’t feel that I would do it and sell it on, basically because I don’t think whoever had it would keep an eye on it till I felt comfortable. It’s mute now anyway because it’s long gone when I’m writing this…. I think it has? Now I’ve said that I’m not sure it’s still tucked in the shed
