That is so funny! I bought a used Spree years ago that didn’t run. I took it al apart, cleaned everything spotless and checked everything but it just would not fire…… same exact thing, the muffler was completely plugged with mud daubers nest. As soon as I discovered that, it fired up next try.
Did you have to do anything to the fuel tank? I have a 2003 zuma that has a lot of build up and such in the fuel tank. I just wanted to know what you did with that part. Also how long did that one sit for?
I take my fuel tank and load it full of BB's and shake the crap out of it with carb or break cleaner in it then renice it with clean no acholic fuel and give er a go
Thank you for the video. I have been chasing an issue with my little Zuma - It soaks the plug within a crank or two of trying to get the scooter started. I have pulled the bowl to make sure the float wasn't sticking but it was fine. I rode it last year and the year before. Maybe some starting fluid or take the carb completely off and run new gas. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I just paid $400 mins sits too long. Drove it home and now won’t start Is gas tank rust an issue Says it’s rusted and added a fuel filter? Well it won’t run and now back to shop? $$
Where I live there is a radiator shop that will remove all the rust and then treat the tank. Yes rust in the fuel tank will be a problem. Thank you for watching.
In Aus they are a beewee, bws100 or yw100, our zumas were 50cc , shitty little yamaha bikes, the yw's are really good bikes and fast , few variator weights and a exhaust they really come alive , I ride big bikes but loved my 100 beewee

This thing is still running just fine. It mostly runs around camp grounds and gets hauled around on a motorhome. I think he said he has put about 300 miles on it. Thank you for watching.
