Any EFI 2 stroke going on in UK or Europe? I It is happening with outboard 2 stroke engines and Feevalve electronic valves. This eliminates the need for a camshaft and/or a Cam shaft and connecting rods reducing reducing many reciprocating components and weight. Fiat Abarth and Bugatti Veyron use Frevalve also. If we don't go nuclear 1st, there is going to be a rebirth of super efficient, powerful EFI 2 stroke with electronic valves. As a fellow gearhead I had to share this with you guys, and get your thoughts? On the scooter stuff.. I have found a 2002 Zuma 50 with a 100 miles.. I would like to do A70CC upgrade with cannonball run reliability, and and off-road trail friendliness. I would like to get good gas mileage had a good cruising speed. Reliability 1st and gas mileage 2nd, are my my greatest concerns. Quality= Reliableity/Endurance.. Quality = Increased cost. Thank you, .S.S.S. 🛵 Y'all good people. I will be calling you.
I absolutely love these videos! Can’t wait to pick up more parts for my Elite S. Finally finished de-restricting it. Gonna keep an eye out for a prebug Zuma, you guys make them look so cool.
I just found a 01' 500 miles. Cherry one. Be seeing your shop shortly. I want a similiar setup. No need to do 80 but a torque mid speed bike would be nice. This looks like the setup.
Take a look at a Gilera Runner 180cc 2 stroke, if you can get such a motorcycle in the USA its perfect. The Gilera Runner is the best motorcycle ever made!
For a $300 scooter i bought off a coworker. I would have never guessed how popular they still are. Its the only scooter ive ever ridden that can do a burnout completely stock
Even if that thing had twice the power 95 percent of us watching couldn't wheelie like that!l lol I had a 91 cr500r that needed the back brake under clutch or over would have saved my ass I used to do exactly what u doing but longer and usually till bike was about tapped out at 90 geared tall. Sick man . Asphalt doesn't give I wish like hell I'd had on some sliding gear
I HAVE 2008 ZUMA 50CC .MY ELECTRIC PUSH START BUTTON DONT WORK WHAT COULD IT BE. I HAVE NEW BATTERY AND 7 AMP FUSE ON THERE. I ONLY HEARD CLICK FROM THE STATER RELAY
Does a 28mm round slide "pe" on what I'm told is a 100cc factory engine sounds right to you guys? Got an 04 in extremely nice condition yasuni pipe tons of upgrade but the crappies thing on it is the 28mm carb that actually measures 29mm. It had a 138 main jet and I already ran a 152.5 drill through it and still feels like it wants more fuel, needle clip at the lowest too..
So the lighter the weights you can find would be better, 6 oz for example vs/ 7.5. Liter the weight the faster throws out face to belt, can you actually go to lite.
How much of this can I do to a bug eye I would like to get it as close to 50 mph I can and still make it reliable I pick up a two-stroke tomorrow. It's going to be a big task I think because I'm 6'1 and 240. I'm not worried about doing wheelies I just wanted to look nice and if I'm able to lower it down I doubt if they make a stretch for it anymore
hey guys i have a 94 honda elite sr fully stock can i do that some built as your pre bug on the elite but im tying to be in the 60-70mph range to do some high end wheelies
Could you help me with the setup for my yamaha spy cw 50 rsp? Im doing a complete rebuild to 70cc vertical AC cylinder, exhaust, variomat kit, gears, clutch, bearings. But I need advice on compatible parts. I would also like to buy longer gears for more top speed. Could you help me? I want reliable fun machine. If it hits 60mph Im happy
I have a yamaha jog 50cc and i want to install a 70cc bigbore kit..i would choose polini brand how do i go about to order....i did rebore the stock block but he bike overheats within 5minutes
@@Scooterswapshop by adapter i ment the stem, i watched a video from you where you guys installed the naked bars on the zuma, where can i find the billet stem you used?
@@Scooterswapshop does it matter the name brand of 2-stroke there's a lot of them I am willing to try one and yes it does takes a lot of porting and polishing for 4-stroke to get good top speed
Anyone got the idea what can couse engine braking on moped? I have that issue on my 98 zuma (actually booster here in Poland) that when i let the bike coast its feel and sound like its engine braking and im trying changing rollers but thats not the solution
The clutch engages at a certain rpm and doesn't let go until the rpm drops below I noticed this also so I tried stopping before rolling down a hill which It did freely coast though when I hit the throttle it engaged and caused me to slow down since it had the stock pulley ratio deceleration was harsh
Great video, bike is awesome. Throttle response seems very snappy. I've got an 01 zuma with 70cc polini kit, variator kit, yasuni r pipe, polini carb. I've noticed when it's cold, it rips off the line and front end pops right up. Once it's warmed up, it sounds richer and isn't very snappy. Cant get the front to pop up even close to as easily. Just ordered some new reeds from you guys - could that be the issue? Not really sure what could cause loss of snappiness in power once it warms up
@@Scooterswapshop that's most likely it. I can see oil residue all near my intake. I'll put new gaskets in and reeds and see how she runs! Appreciate all the vids and quick shipping
To do a build like this I’d estimate around $2-2500 in parts. Wheels brakes suspension engine parts fairings. Only think original is the frame and fuel tank.
bro could u please help me with a dope scooter build??? I was in a moto accident smashed thru a cpl trees broke my back neck, shoulders and 3 ribs, and also with a bum knee a full size motorcycle or street bike would just be out of the question.. can we please team up to make a dope lil ripper I can work out a price with you, if you would be interested in helping out a military family please get ahold of me I would love to tell you more about my situation.. take care and god bless, speed safely my friend -Peter
I need help on how to tune the carb on my freshly built setup? Starts and idles fine but on higher revs it bogs down, when i tryed to ride it- doesnt go, just keeps bogging. Current main jet 127, with carbuerator it came with 90 main jet. Here is what i just built: Stage 6 sport pro mk2, stage 6 replica, doppler intake reed housing /w reeds, polini cp 19mm, malossi e5 filter, stage 6 skf bearings, motoforce evo crank, naraku clutch, naraku clutch bell, naraku variator, malossi kevlar belt
Scooterswapshop i just watched the video again of tuning a cvt after big bore kit or exhaust. But if my bike is on stand, i try to rev it up and on high rpm it just shuts off, isnt it a carbuerator jetting fault?
Yeah people tease me about my bugeye, i just smile knowing im having more fun and if i wanna get warp speed i can always pull out the blackbird...its just day to day and errands a two smoke that i can thrash without gibbing myself is much more fun.
