Yellowcard perform a stripped-down cover of Katy Perry's monster hit "E.T." for Billboard's Mashup Mondays series. Filmed and recorded live at the Billboard Studio, NYC.
i swear... im falling in love with Yellowcard all over again....... i have missed them so... i just love it when music reaches you on a level nothing else can.......
Natalie sang on Lights and Sounds. There was a B-side from Paper Walls of the live acoustic recording of How I Go and Gifts and Curses. Katy Perry was on How I Go
Wow, I remember seeing these guys live at Grad Night 2005 in Disney World before I graduated from HS. Great to see they're still around. Easily one of my favorite bands from back then. Still sound amazing.
@geturfreakDNAaway I, too, am falling in love with Yellowcard all over again too!! I was wondering what the hell happened to them. Sooo glad they're back!
@JDoeson69 "High and Dry", "Dumb", "Everywhere", "All Apologies", "Oh My Love". There MIGHT be more, but these are what I have on my iTunes. google it or check them out on RU-vid
Nice stripped down Mello version, I loved how they emulated the synth of the original by using the violin and electric guitar. Yellowcard is just one of those unique bands out there.
No, Natalie from the Dixie Chicks sang on the album but when they played it live they needed a female vocalist and Katy Perry just got signed to Capitol so they sent her to sing with Yellowcard.
and you can so tell Ryan is using his whole body to sing. few people realize that singing doesnt involve just the voice, it takes the whole body to create good tone and have good breath support. kudos, Ryan, kudos.......
if you know Yellowcard so well, then you may say that this cover song is 'almost' flawless! Ryan Key used to have a chord surgeon that made his voice messed up several years ago. but now, it looks like his voice is getting better, and he can control it again..
