So yeah. It is pretty good to say the least. I found myself really enjoying the slight changes made to the story and I loved the way this live action show felt much heavier to begin with than the animated show. I am yet to watch the rest of the season but it's off to a good start. Enjoy :)

One thing I love about the new intro is that it shows just how powerful and formidable the Air Nomads actually were, which is something we never really got to see in the Original Series (since Aang, while an Airbending Master, is still a child and is focused on mastering the other elements throughout). But yeah, they're such beasts that even Sozin has to admit, "You may have prevailed on another night..." And while that line is added in this adaptation, it's backed up even in the Original Series by his choice to attack the Air Nomads only with the aid of the comet.

I actually love the immediate attraction Suki and Sokka have towards each other. Neither of them have ever left their villages, so this is likely the first time they are seeing anyone their age that they didnt grow up with. A crush is pretty normal in those circumstances. What i want is to see how it develops beyond just a crush of convenience
@lamented-musings8932

Nah it's forced. In the original there were plenty of guys suki's age in her village so the attraction meant more. Here it's just a forced attraction. Her attraction to Sokka in the original was from his personality and willingness to take accountability mostly. That means more than attraction to looks.

This kind of comment is why many streamers/film makers hesitate to take on these projects. No matter how hard they try to be accurate, entertaining, etc, the fandom inevitably whines about it being flawed, not perfect, etc. Point being, if fans keep doing this "I liked it but..." crap, they'll soon find no one will want to make the effort. Sorry, can't be nice about it.

@@JonInCanada1 I don't think people creating media care so much about what the hard core fans think at the moment...Even if they bitch about it, they're ultimately going to watch it. Fans are fickly fucks and it's already accounted for. They don't make things because they expect appreciation from everyone, but mostly because they think its worth it. If people enjoy it and appreciate the effort, neat.. if someone doesn't - they didn't make it for those people. What I suspect, beside this raising buzz and preparing people for the new avatar stuff, that people will be watching both version on netflix and oddly people with a paramount subscription won't bother watching it on there because of ads.

It's a tiny bit of storytelling that I love, because it makes us know a tiny bit more about Zuko. We don't know much in that vein in the original ATLA, of who Zuko is on top of everything else, just who he is as a person. We know he's a skilled swordsman, but here, we learn that he's a rather decent illustrator. Either something his mom honed and encouraged, or something he developed in the past 3y.

Well I had a chance to binge the entire season and then watch 3 reactions to episode 1. I am glad you put together the first two episodes. The other reactors were so critical about minor things that were different from the original animated series. They knocked on things like Gran Gran's line delivery. This is something I happened to like and recognize as a kind of authentic story telling tone for an elder native American woman. (Enjoyed her performance in Reservoir Dogs as well.) Anyway, I like how much more upbeat you were and how you appreciated the new adaptation for it's differences. I know you will be impressed by what's to come and I have subscribed to your channel so I can watch these along with you. Keep up the good work and positivity. I’d say it’s good, it’s not great, but it’s miles better than any other hypothetical live action attempt, and I do hope it gets a season 2 because I’m interested to see how the changes they’ve made will affect the plot. As for the changes, to me most of them range from “I don’t mind” to “I actually like it this way a little better.” Imo it’s like all of those Cinderella adaptations: they kept the important parts the same, and then played around with a lot of the finer details to create their own version of a familiar story. Like they rearranged puzzle pieces to create a similar but new image.

We heard a lot about the changes to Sokka’s character and how his misogyny specifically was taken away. But I mean I can still kinda see it. I actually thought this connection with Suki and Sokka was much more natural and even endearing. Being isolated from so much of the world her whole life and focusing all her energy on being a Kyoshi Warrior means she has little experience even being around a boy so on one hand shes intrigued, on another she finds herself attracted to him. Being so isolated and focused however means that she has no idea how to flirt so when she sees that Sokka is interested in warrior culture and her training, she uses that, the main thing she understands, as a way to connect with him and clumsily flirts such as their first sparring session.

This is something I’ve been posting on a few other reactions for the show and I still stand by it: I’m halfway through the season and I can see how it’s a mixed bag. But I don’t agree with the people saying this is trash. I knew going into it that they were changing things, which helped me manage my expectations better. I do agree with the person who said that it helps to think of this live action version as taking place in a different universe. It means you can separate it more from the animated version. Nothing could ever beat the original, but I’m at least entertained by what I’ve seen so far. It’s not perfect, but I can see what they’re trying to do. My hope is they can learn from the critiques and do better if they get seasons 2 and 3. There’s potential here. The execution right now just misses the mark.

I think the show is great for what it is - a show created today, where seasons of television have essentially become 8-hour long films. I feel so insane for actually liking the show BECAUSE IT IS NOT BAD AT ALL. I swear, I thought I was gonna have a good time with the fans because we can have a 'reunion' but a lot of people just hating on it not being a 1:1 adaptation with cosplayers that resemble characters... It's so tiring and really sad. I never went into the live action thinking it SHOULD be this, they SHOULD look like that but it's pretty obvious that despite the flaws, this adaptation was made with love and care. To compare it to M Nights ONG, and say they are equal in quality... I feel so gaslighted into thinking it is bad. And sadly, this will spread like wild fire. I feel 80% who were mad about this adaptation are shallow fans or not fans at all because they came into this hating it. So of course theyd have something to complain about. It's so bizarre that some of us who have loved this series for more than a decade actually appreciate this attempt by netflix(which is a respectable adaptation), but people who are apparently "experts" bandwagon on shitting on it.

It's true. For a lot of fans, different equals bad. It's happened to every single book to movie adaptation, no matter how good it was. I gotta say I wasn't too excited about the first half of the first episode. The long exposition intro, the pacing, the Peter Pan flying. Would have preferred to see Aangs backstory in flashbacks as he's resting with the water tribe. But I got over it. It's absolutely stunning. The longer backstory put more emphasis on the devastating ending of episode 1. I love the more realistic and mature approach, the portrayed trauma of war. So many things were absolutely beautiful and right and enjoyable 😊

I came into it with low expectations, I’ve watched two episodes and so far I think everything is pretty much fine except the writing. I love the set design, the fight choreography is good, cgi is impressive considering how much they had to use, casting is good, but the most important thing really fell short. It’s like the writers and director missed the lesson on show don’t tell. All the characters say exactly how they feel, drop buckets of poorly entwined exposition, and talk like they’re reading from a script. Sometimes I can’t tell if they’re acting is also bad or it’s solely the script. Aang’s acting especially needs improvement, but he does capture the character so much better than the movie. Either nobody is showing enough emotion, or their emotions come on and off like a light switch. I hope the creators receive the needed criticism about their writing and improve in coming seasons.

Sorry but I love the original, have for 10+ years and I've seen it 8 or more times, maybe more. I don't think the show is shit for not being a 1:1 adaptation, it's shit because it has clunky/awkward dialogue, bad writing, weird cuts. I wouldn't have even minded how much they seemed to adapt to the shorter runtime in similar or even the same ways as the movie, whatever, but like it's not even a particularly spectacular show in general. What I like the most is that the production is still deeply rooted from the original series but at the same time they managed to put new scenes which makes me more excited and look forward watching, it seems like im watching a new show that I'm not familiar with. People need to realize that having some minor changes from the show isnt bad to make it more appealing because if they just 100% imitate the animated series then why would they waste their time to make this series if the audience could've just watch the original series?

@@loganleroy8622 My thoughts exactly. Also even the spirit ep wasn’t entirely awful. Some parts were still good. There are good bits like Aang and Gyatso reuniting and meeting Fox Yue and seeing Wanshi tong. Did not expect that, but I appreciated the spirit of wisdom being the first one to guide Aang in the spirit world instead of a weird monkey (even tho the monkey was funny) I thought those parts were at least entertaining. Hated that Katara and Sokka were out of commission for nearly all of the ep cz where’s our team avatar team building side quest? Hate that they got transported with him by accident. It takes away from the complexity of bending and the specialty of becoming a bending master by making it look like accidental magic instead of intentional spiritual connection. June and Gyatsos ending narration were the highlights to me.

@@shinigamis_like_apples4797 Yeah I couldn’t believe when Wanshi Tong showed up. And when Zhao didn’t get his information on the ocean and moon spirits from the library, that basically confirmed that we won’t be getting that episode. I personally think it’s a refreshing take on the beloved series. The VFX stands out for the most part, contributing to the immersive world-building. The inventive meshing of storylines adds a unique flavor, although the kids' acting falls slightly short of the standard set by shows like Stranger Things. Despite this, it remains serviceable. Zuko and Iroh steal the spotlight with compelling performances, making them the standout characters. The incorporation of the original OST enhances the nostalgia, likely contributing to my overall enjoyment of the series.

I JUST FINISHED watching the season and holy shit *nothing has made me cry more than this season- idk wtf is wrong with me-* Despite some criticism, and I haven’t looked at any of it since I just finished watching, I throughly enjoyed it. There were definitely differences between the original animated series but in all fairness, they had to limit everything to 8 40-60 minute long episodes. So the chances for things like filler episodes and storylines to be changed for the live action series is not that unbelievable.

Don't worry, once season 2 has ended, they will look back on season 1 with different eyes. People are comparing three season of a whole show to one season of an adaptation. The characters had the most growth in Book 2, that's when you really started to bond with them, the live show will go down that same route.

@@ThisIsMyFullNamedefinitely not. Season one of the cartoon has always been great, with great writing and character development overall. The live action seriously lacks in that. I don't care if people like it but the criticism is fair; this is not a well written adaptation.
@ThisIsMyFullName
@ThisIsMyFullName 7 месяцев назад
@@LeeAra-e2c It's not great compared to season 2, where you have Toph's introduction, Zuko's character development and his relationship with Iron, Azula being set loose and introducing Mai and Ty Lee, The Library, Tales of Ba Sing Se, and introducing lightning, metal and sand bending. Season 1 set up the story really well, but everything interesting in the series happens in season 2, which it sets up the whole narrative of season 3. It's not really fair to compare the emotional range of a whole show, to the first season of a live adaptation, that also has far less episodes. But even without considering the animation, I was emotionally attached to the live characters from the first episode. I don't know what to tell you, if watching the people of the Air nation being eliminated didn't make you feel anything. The acting, visuals and music is all there, so maybe your expectations just weren't matching up with what you saw? I have posted this elsewhere and shall post it other places as I see more reactions. This is what I said on my Facebook page after watching the first two episodes. It is not the same, but it is good. Imagine if the events of Avatar the Last Airbender were real and happened 200 years ago. Nobody today was around to see it happen and there are no doubt many histories which may not all agree on every point, depending on who wrote them. So someone today created the animated series to tell the story, and they did a good job of telling it as they understood it. Then later another person does a live action version and they also try to tell the story and do a good job of it, but the two tellings put different emphasis on things and perhaps use different sources for the details and in the end, both tell the story well but neither is perfect telling of it. Neither includes everything that happened because there would be just too much to include it all and some details might be arranged differently to make it all work a docudrama - because in both cases, they are telling it as a story, not as a dry history book. That is what this is like. If you assume that it was a true story being told by people who only have historic accounts to work with, both tellings are likely to be imperfect but they capture the essence of the history. That's how I choose to see this and on that basis, both are great jobs but they are not identical. Also like the many tellings of the story of Robin Hood - there are multiple great jobs of telling the story but none of them are the same, just similar. There are also some bad jobs that have been done with Robin Hood - just as Avatar had a bad job done of trying to tell the story in the Movie that Shan't be Named.

I love your reaction! You criticized these episodes perfectly & brought out my exact thoughts. I really hope Netflix renews the show for a second season. Some of the reactors I watched kept complaining how things were different & making fun of the CGI. It really sucks when people let nostalgia get in the way of being open minded & aren’t able to celebrate a new version of the beloved story. I see this live action as another version for the story to be told. My dad does not like anime or animated things. It isn’t because he can’t stand the stories, he just does not like that form of media. So when the live actions for Kenshin & One Piece came out, he watched them & absolutely adored the stories. I like to think of these live actions as a welcoming gate for new fans while also appealing to the fans of the animated series. I have loved the animated show most of my life & I am so happy this live action now exists. I need book 2 now!

I think people’s expectations were set super high and they wanted a scene for scene adaptation or something more like the one piece adaptation. Although there’s quite a lot of changes, there’s so much more context brought in from the books that you wouldn’t know unless you read the books. It feels like it’s the “missing pieces” and I like the call backs to the series and different episodes. I enjoy the darker tone to the series too. As you said you can feel the gravity of the situation. Although I didn’t love it at first the more I watched I enjoyed the story and the characters and to me it added to the original story not took it away

It’s a mixed bag, with some really awful stuff, and some genuinely great things too. The huge problems seem to be limited to the script. The ham-handed and almost comically bad exposition delivered so painfully by a group of inexperienced actors really was frustrating. And there is SO much of it. I don’t understand how writing this bad can exist in a show with the resources this one is supposed to have. Is it that they can’t afford to hire good writers? Or is the problem with the people in charge…they really don’t recognize how bad the dialog is? One moment that hit you was a dull thud for me…Aang’s line “can’t I keep pretending I’m your friend” really didn’t make sense here, but bothered me mostly because it’s practically word-for-plagiarized word from a scene from Man Of Steel. Maybe it would have landed better if it wasn’t such an obvious rip off. That said, this was some of the best acting in episode one, That said, the acting is pretty rough, even from most of the older actors. But I attribute that to it being the first few episodes. It often takes a while for the cast to find their footing, work well together, etc. And I do feel it improves. But in any case, despite all the room for improvement, everyone in the cast has been lightyears better than the performances in the live action Avatar film. (That wasn’t the fault of those actors either, but of a director inexplicably incapable of getting good performances from child actors, despite his past accomplishments.) The story moves along, maybe even too quickly, but it’s certainly never boring or slow. Certain issues, like how quickly they arrived at the air temple, are probably just growing pains. The special effects - something they really needed to get right quickly - are off to a good, and even occasionally great - start. My favorite moment in episode one has to be Aang telling Sokka he’s brave for fighting for him. It was unexpectedly moving, and demonstrated the show has a capacity for real heart and insight. I can’t forgive whoever is responsible for the script. After the all the very public problems with the writing for everything from Kenobi to Secret Invasion, and examples of great writing, like the unexpectedly amazing Andor, and there’s just no excuse for garbage anymore. And there have been so many high profile, big budget genre films with horrible writing recently, Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker, Blue Beetle, Morbius and Madame Web, even the Marvels…it just amazes me that it keeps happening. Still, this show is nowhere near a disaster and has a lot of good in with the bad. Hopefully it will only get better. It’s really easy to attack what’s wrong here, and all the more so because it has such huge shoes to fill. But you’re right to try to view it on its own terms. And maybe now that it has set the world up, all that awful exposition is over, and we can move past that and give the show, the characters, the plot, and the actors, room to breathe.

Nothing can touch the sheer brilliance of the original animation, but I'm enjoying most of the changes they're making. And it's obviously leagues better than Shyamalan's version! It gives things a different perspective while honoring the source material. Don't get me wrong, it falls into exposition traps, and I disagree with *some* changes--when the writing doesn't quite deliver the intended impact that would have helped the change make sense--but for the most part, I'm enjoying their creativity when it comes to adapting this much-beloved series. 💕 I recommend listening to the entire credits song! It starts off the same as the animation, but then they have a super pretty orchestral rearrangement that jumps in!

This was much better than the terrible live action movie, but I still have some slight nitpicks or grapes, one of the biggest things that live action remakes tend to do, which I think is a problem for both new viewers as well as us, which is not being able to balance the lightheaded stuff with the seriousness, while I knew it wasn't gonna be a shop for shot with the original, I still think they should've kept certain things they didn't show, for example if you're going to include new things like they did at the beginning of the episode then they had to take out stuff from the Cartoon which I don't think they should've, I personally think they should've added the Airbender genocide at the beginning as one of the first things we see which they did but I think it should've started with that and then gone into the first three episodes, but I think it should've been The first two episodes, especially if you're going to add an extra stuff because they just went through it too fast in my opinion like there was a lot of exposition which wasn't too bad, but there was also a lot of skipping over stuff, which like I said is something that live action remakes tend to do where they skip over a lot of scenes everything moves too quickly and the pacing was a bit off, everything felt very heavy and there wasn't a lot of humour, which is understandable because by diluting some of the humour it makes it feel more real and the stakes feel higher, but at the same time there are a few scenes I think they should've kept like when Sukko says he doesn't want to get on Appa he left out there's no way I'm getting on that fluffy snot monster, which I still think he should've said and then cut to them flying on it I think that would've added a bit of humour and then I still think Aang should've knocked Zuko's mattress against the wall like that was a very iconic funny scene and obviously I can understand them removing the penguin sledding part because Kotara is a lot older so all of that romantic stuff I can understand them kind of taking away but I just didn't feel as funny and since both Aang and Sukko our very funny characters in the show originally, I think with this new live action they made them too serious still, especially Sukko, obviously not as bad as they did in the other live action where he was too serious, but I still think there should've been some more humour in the first episode and it should've been paste a little bit better just being the first two episodes of the cartoon mixed with new extra stuff like the genocide, but obviously that's not what we got and well it's not a big deal it just made the pacing feel really off and it made everything feel too rushed which like I said is something that a lot of live actions suffer from, where they did that with Percy Jackson as well the first two episodes were too heavy, now I have not seen the second episode of this show yet, so maybe the second episode makes the first episode feel less heavy when you watch them together, but it just feels like maybe they could've made the pacing slightly better and just given each important moment time to breathe with a bit of humour, because it just feels like we're going from one thing to the next very quickly and it's hard especially I would assume for a new viewers to really grass what's happening because there's a lot of information being thrown at them all at once and even as someone who has seen the cartoon many times it did feel very overwhelming just going from one thing to the next without really taking a break and just having it be so intense rather than having that little bit of humour, it also wouldn't take much to do that like I said just adding in a few of the funny scenes from the cartoon and not rushing over it too much like they had almost one for one scenes like Aang got captured, but then they brushed over that whole scene on the boat where he's like running around and showing off his air bending skills riding around on his scooter which we didn't see and just being a silly goofy kid and using that to defend himself against the fire benders and then obviously Zuko. so it's just small things like that, where if those kind of scenes have been included and were able to breathe a little bit more by taking out the stuff from the beginning and just kind of not having it feel to rushed I think it would've just made it that much better, it was still done really well but that would be my only nitpick is that I just think it was a little bit too rushed a little bit too overwhelming and the pacing was just slightly off we needed a little bit more time to get to know our characters and take everything we were hearing because it all happened a little bit too fast, I understand that they're only doing eight episodes but after seeing this first episode I do think they would've benefited from maybe nine or 10 just so that they can slightly flesh things out because unlike Percy Jackson they got 40 minutes, I thought they were going to do two episodes live action episodes because 20 minutes fits perfectly into 40 minutes and then obviously changing things slightly and adding new things but that's not quite what they did and because of that they really rushed over it I do think that the first episode of the live action should've just been the Airbender genocide and then the first two episodes of the original show with them in the southern water tribe, before we then jumped to the southern air Temple and all of that, I understand why they did what they did, I just think it was a bit of a hindrance to the show as it changed the pacing of it and made it feel rushed, again I have not seen the second episode yet as I am watching these episodes with my Dad once a week, but for the first episode I think like I said it just would've been benefited from being slowed down slightly and adding in a little bit more humour, again this is just my opinion and my thoughts, I still think it's done really well and I did really enjoy it, I just think it was slightly too rushedin my opinion.

This Suki is giving me neurodivergent vibes, and I honestly just love that. I see a number of my traits in her, the way she just feels a bit weird in her interactions with Sokka, who's evidently a major point of interest to her, for all he represents. Freedom, the outside... The way it comes off as awkward and off-beat, how intensely she seems to be focus on the things she turns her attention to, her extreme bluntness and absolute dedication to her art and skill, and the glee at the sight of Kyoshi are all traits I can see being linked to her being ND. She doesn't really seem to understand what she's doing "wrong", in her first interactions with Sokka. Can't wait to see how they treat this Suki in the rest of the show.

I was hopeful and then disappointed. I just can't get with some of the changes they made. It's not a bad show. It's visually good and some changes I liked but other changes I was so disappointed in. I'm still giving it a chance tho and I hope next season is a lot better.

While the show isn't perfect, obviously, it's still very enjoyable, especially for fans of the original series. Love the way they did the bending, way better than the movie. Also loved how they kept some of the original music, like the end credits. Edit: I also started tearing up in the first 10 minutes lmaoo

YES! I actually like it a lot. It's not exactly like the original and that's what makes it amazing because it would've been "watching it all over again" if all the scenes are exactly the same. The acting is alright personally, it's not the best. A little more emotion maybe especially for Katara and Aang could be improved ofc. I agree that EP 1 is kind of rushed, I was hoping to see Aang fight his way out of Zuko's ship lol. The bending is awesome but I would say earth bending movement is a little slow so I hope they change that. Overall it's an 8/10 for me. I hope they also change the way the costumes look a bit. The only thing I like are the Kiyoshi warriors, so yeah. The show is not bad at all, there's definitely room for improvement. :)) I highly recommend it

I reluctantly finished all 8 episodes today hoping to find at least one good scene. I found it on episode 5 regarding Katara in the spirit world. It brought sympathy, understanding, and remorse. It's only one of a very few relatable and immersive scenes in the show.

I think it was very fun to watch. I really enjoyed how they did Zuko, but I'm much less impressed with Azula (and Yue's costume?!). What bothered me most though is the writing for what the characters say. Many scenes would have been better with less words. They often just express sentiments that can be shown with a look and would have been much more impactful that way and every scene was turned into drama. I feel like the drama would hit harder if you get some fun scenes in between where you actually get to love the characters before having them dump their life story on you (This was mainly for the main gang of 3). Other than that though I actually think they did a good job compressing the story so it felt like they still went through a lot a without it feeling too rushed. Many of the costumes and locations looked amazing and most of the cast was great (though the acting directing could've used some work...). I think for both the acting direction and the dialogue it would've really helped if they kept the original authors on board. They really knew how to make you fall in love with the characters. Overall I'm excited to see the second season but I wouldn't call it a great adaptation.

I didn't even know Netflix was making a live adaptation! From what I've seen in this reaction, it's def not perfect, but i really enjoyed watching it. I think it's not meant to be a complete "remake" of the animated show, but just something to add to the animated version that we all know and adore (like u said). Can't wait to see more of ur reactions!! I have a request: could you - if you haven't already seen it - react to "The Count of Monte Cristo" 2002? It's an amazing movie, and the acting/dialogue is superb. I think you would really enjoy it!!

I love seeing a positive review of this that appreciates what the new medium can bring to the story. Live action is fundamentally different from animation so trying to do a shot for shot remake of the original would not have been a good idea. I thought this was as good as I could have hoped for in a live action ATLA. Live action is not a cartoon and I don't expect it to be. The tone will naturally be more serious and the acting more naturalistic. I also think it looks amazing visually and don't get the critiques of the CGI and VFX. It seems like some people think being snarky or critical makes them look smarter. Not necessarily.

I’m 2 episodes in, so far I am loving it. It is definitely not exactly like the original, but I love the extra back stories for stuff we knew and how the story is the same but taking some different steps to get there. I can’t wait to watch the rest!!

I definitely enjoyed the visuals and costumes, aang's performance was far better than I expected and I thought all of the gaang were good. The plot changes did bother me, not because I'm against any deviation from the original show but because a lot of them felt unnecessary or messy. For example, Zhao worked far better in the show as a villain and Sokka's initial misogyny was important for his character arc.

What this version really highlights is the time problem with ATLA. Look at this 12 year old child and than remember, that... "Airship Slice !" happens in less than a year from now.

I guess that is why they barely mentioned the Comet in the end and did not tell us when it will return exactly. Maybe they will find out in the Library in S2? Or they find the date of the eclipse there and later learn of the Comet's return in S3 while being in the Fire Nation. They did not want the actors to be a lot older for the other seasons while their characters were still the same age.

This adaptation of Avatar has its positives and negatives. There’s a lot to compliment, but the tweaking of the story I’m conflicted over. I liked some of the changes, but I thought others negatively affected character development and even the characters themselves. I can see why the original series creators left the project over creative differences.

Some tweaks I really enjoyed, some I really disliked. And there were also some tweaks were I was confused at what they were going for at first, until it lead to some great scenes and I found myself thinking this was a nice trade off. It's a mixed bag, but I did globally have a good time watching this show, so yay for me I guess ?

@@bouboulroz Yeah. I'm glad to have a mixed bag over an absolute nightmare though. I def want more seasons even more so after some flaws. After getting audience feedback, they'd really be able to refine things, and hopefully get even better at the stuff they did really well. But that'd also be difficult cause you'd have to then sort the legit and useful criticism from just people hating. :P

If you want to enjoy it. Seperate it from the anime. It's the same story but in different parts. It's fantastic as its own thing. There's a few what tf moments and the past avatars aren't it and some of the spirit world scenes aren't it but apart from that. I gave it a solid 7. The world itself is beautiful and the characters are amazing. I'm wanting season 2 and will definitely rewatch. The backstory and lore added is very good. Hope you enjoy 😊
