@@jlciithat’s why we need democrats in office to make the rich white man pay their share in taxes to lower costs for working class folks who want to afford something like this one day. Republicans want to make the rich richer and keep the poor people poor.
@@Superfly18257 but who's gonna buy it at their price? When's the last time you seen one on the road? ( I bet you gonna say ' yeah I seen one. -at a repair shop- or I own one -as a Hotwheel- )
The good thing about Cadillac is you can get a 5yr old Escalade gas 6.2 at half price, and be confident with proper maintenance records you are getting a reliable vehicle. So... in 5ys from now, would you buy a used electric Escalade? Hmmm...
Ok, Cadillac is a real nice SUV, but NOT FOR those PRICES, smh, no way, and Cadillac does not have loaners WHEN VEHICLES ARE BEING SERVICE FOR A PERIOD OF TIME ! I know this for a fact because I've had an Escalade for 15 yrs !
The size of these electric vehicles makes me believe the car manufacturers know that in the future not everyone will get too own a car so there is going to be more space for these behemoths
So far I haven't seen a single reviewer show how to get to the third row. I'm only wondering because there's no space between the executive chairs in the second row. Obviously the chairs have to fold forward, i just would want to see how that looks but I guess no one thinks that's important 🤦♂️🤷♂️.
No car that price is reliable. Take that piss poor argument to a room with civic and Corolla owners. We’re talking McDonalds vs Ruth’s Chris here. But I see y’all say anything to drag good cars down and uplift 💩
Cadillac is going upmarket, if you look at what they'll be offering by 2026, you'll see some amazing and really high-end vehicles. Like the Celestiq and others.
I just bought the lyriq, the GM of my dealer ship told me to wait a few months if I dont want to pay for mark up. And he would be able to look into discounts after the buying craze is over
Compared to the new Cadillac Lyric, this is a bit of a frumpy old grandpa in a wrinkled suit style wise. To replace a set of those huge tires, it’s going to take an equally large chunk of green. And how big does the garage need to be to park that pooch in? That a big vehicle.
It is so is the esv they have been selling for many, many years. Also a lot vehicles are currently rolling around on 21, and 22's. You don't buy a 6 figure vehicle if you're worried about how much the tires would cost.
I don't see how buying this thing makes any sense unless you can use a luxury transport vehicle for high end clients at the Airport or something but when then, Why would get the Electric version over the Diesel-powered one that can go forever and has 27 mpg.
I’m a Chevy (GM) fan, but dang. How’s that going to feel when your $170k Escalade’s dash is cracked and busted all to crap and the paint is sun baked in 10 years
That doesn’t happen. You’re NOT a GM fan by any stretch. You’re a FAKE. the last gen Escalades came out in 2015. 10 years ago. Those are all still on the road looking brand new. The generation BEOFRE the last gen (two gens ago) still look good when taken care of ! And taken care of doesn’t mean a paint job and 2 engine replacements. I’m talking simple washing , oil changes , tune ups, and waxing. Things you’d do to any car. You just made up the “dash cracking paint fading “ BS. nobody head of GM would be proud to have you as a “fan” and won’t claim you as such when you’re making the same false claims as a Toyota kiss ass.
Don’t say this suv is cheap Wait 10 years and the vehicle will go down on price by 75% and then u will have to replace all the batteries on this suv, I won’t give almost 225k with financing on it plus TTL And loose 75% that is just crazy , just because it has iPad on the dash
@imrytebeehyneu he/she/it is saying mercedes has dealership markup as well, mercedes flagship suv is stupid expensive as well and people still buy it. No one talks about mercedes being unaffordable but when it comes to cadilliac for some reason ppl start talking about price and affordability.
@@TuanLe-ko5rm this is not the only vehicle they make. Also mercedes, Lamborghini, porche, Aston martin, Ferrari, and whole host of others still in business making $200k plus vehicles.
Yeah but why would I spend almost 175k on a car built in Detroit when I can actually buy a Porsche....Are we saying Cadillac and Porsche are in the same class level?....NEVER.
The antithesis of IQ. If the price alone weren’t enough, the EscaladeIQ is a conventional / non-bespoke build. I’m sure, if someone wants to spend the $$$$$$, GM WILL accept the $$$$$$. Maybe it’s a bargain?? Only half of a Celestiq??
@@G-RatedIf you’re so intelligent and informed, you spend YOUR $175K. What’s smart about overpaying for a non-exclusive oversized ‘luxury’ SUV that anyone can order with the same color and options and that uses energy like it’s free. It’s a free country, knock yourself out and make your local Caddy dealer and GM management smile.
Don't you have to look outside while you're driving ? Why all the screens ? 2 are good enough infront of you....why across the dash......it's crazy.....just to look modern to get your money. But real world usability without taking your eyes off the road......it's complete nonsense
Do you get distracted by your infotainment screen now? And I guarantee you if you're driving attentive and safe that cadilliac ain't killing no one. You pit it park and I can stand infornt of it all day and be completely safe. On the other hand if you run into me with a Mazda Miata at speed I will die. Cars don't kill ppl, ppl kill people.
As someone that has both, you are incorrect. Why is the electric not as good as gas? I can go round trip most places worth going in my state on 1 charge. I get home I plug in car charges overnight at reduced electric rate. I don't have to worry about gas, oil change, and srvicing like I do my gas car. It's also quicker than my gas car. Sure my gas car make sounds, I do like no re-gen in my gas car, also I can go out of state and fill up prolly around 5 mins. Neither is better than the other. Neither is for kids, or for adults. The electric car day to day is more convenient and cheeper to operate. Gas on a road trip is more convenient, oh and engine sounds. That's it. That's the difference between gas and electric.
