Even the cyber truck has a slanted door that’ll hit you in the face! Canoe is the only vehicle with a door that goes straight up and down, that is intuitive when you’re opening and closing a door! I sure hope that doesn’t change when you come out with it. Brilliant design.
Love the steering wheel and the dashboard setup. But what confuses me is the size. The name Wagoneer suggests it should be a full size SUV but this feels more like the Grand Cherokee size wise. Why wouldn’t they market it as an all electric GC? That said the design cues of the TrailHawk concept are cool and would sell. I just don’t get why Jeep is targeting luxury buyers. Their niche is off-road.
So much negative in these comments. Honestly, I disagree that this doesn't look like a jeep. The DNA is there, it's just a luxury wagoneer. Frankly, I love the styling, and the interior appears too notch. Will it sell? I don't kmow... But it looks great. As for the trackhawk? No Bueno. Those exposed screws and nylon straps scream gimmick, and will never age well in the looks dept. Let the Wagoneer be what it is - a luxury vehicle.
Major problem with the Ford Mustang's Mach - E trunk. There is NO drain. Any rain water that get in there stays. The trunk is slopped so any water run forward on to the car floor.

The commentary about it not being on par with the Tesla performance vehicles is a bit of a miss. Of course not a Model X "Performance" (which is just the Plaid at this point, completely different league); but this vehicle was specifically benchmarked and built to go head-to-head with the Model Y Performance. It even beats it to 60. So how exactly is it not comparable to that vehicle?
My IONIQ 5 goes from 20% to 80% (60%) in 16 minutes and 0% to 60% (60%) in 13 minutes. Surprised they didn’t give you a 40% to 80% rate but it’s obvious they aren’t sustaining a good low SOC charge rate like Hyundai can. In their stated 22 minutes I’ve gone 0% to 82% packing in 66kWh and am already driving. I’m not advocating you drive to zero but they suggest with this stat to plug at 20%. So take that 20% of charge they left on the table by plugging in at 20% right off the range making the effective range -35 miles less for 265 miles only if you were at 100% as you leave an over night AC charging. Then your down another 20% when you unplug at the kW slow down at 80% for now only a 230 miles of range as you head from DC charger to DC charger. This isn’t impressive. Turn off all the screens and you may get an extra 2 miles.😉 18:20
The pricing doesn't make sense. You can get pretty much any similar looking EV of it's class for less. Even the new Cadillac Lyriq, that IMO looks much better, and has stronger backing from EV future oriented GM manufacturer, costs less to get into. Aside from someone's preference to buy a Jeep product, there's no practical reason to pick this over the others.
This was a dumb idea that they simply refused to stop working on right now. Reachers reported that public isn't confident on the driving range or the EV infrastructure. READ THE ROOM Jeep!
Not at all! It may make things slightly inconvenient in the short term, but charging stations will be continually added, and over time it will not be an issue at all. Besides, the majority of EV owners do most of their charging at home, so super chargers are generally only used when people are traveling relatively long distances.
Just before Covid, I was ready to buy a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 with just two options: a Trail Rated off road package including two speed transfer case and skid plates for $1,695 and a tow package including self leveling rear suspension for $795. Total MSRP about $35,000. Now, you cannot buy a Trail Rated Grand Cherokee unless you start with the $60,000 Overland trim. F*&! Jeep.
Im here bc of my husband. Tommy, looking pretty sharp there bud. Genuinely. Tho only critique would be youre young ? Riiiight? No Full break on your trousers. Slight break or none. Only full breaks go on the trend w/flapper trousers. & polish those shoes, keep them clean, its not difficult. But I admit you look good! Professional even! As far as the vehicle itself? I like the styling personally, beyond the grill & rare wagoneer badging. The profile to me looks like a 21st century Wagoneer would. Particularly for an EV, I ❤❤❤that spoiler wing! Nioce!😂 Im not at all shocked that Jeep is self sabotaging its charge rate or battery spec. I mean they held onto petrol & pss poor fuel economy as long as they could for all the rednecks & Hillfolk as they could! Even if on day 36.5 they were Repo'd 😂😂😂. No collateral on their rental on Wheels so away went their 8mpg dumb car. & why so many of their CEOs keep being Fired recently by Stellantis. Best NOT Hear ANYONE at TFL blaming the Union. While Each CEO FIRED for Pss Poor performance, Losing Mass $$$$, Pss Poor Sales bc most dealers have minimum 1.5 YEAR SUPPLY OR MORE on their lots they cant sell! All while each CEO Before exiting Raises their Pay, plus Exit Packages to be paid for 10 yrs! $40 Plus Million. While RENIGGING on UAW!
The Wagoneer S should've been competing against the Rivian R1S instead of Tesla Y or, if they really want to compete against Tesla Y, Jeep should've converted (Grand) Cherokee to an all EV. The frunk is a disappointment.
So we will be getting a "Trailhawk" that is not trail rated and instead is capable of traversing sand??? It also lacks a spare tire and due to the sloped rear glass, it won't hold boxy items in its much more limited storage area. I heard nothing about towing, but I doubt it will be over 5,000 lbs and might only be 3,500 lbs. The gamble is whether Jeep can attract enough new buyers to replace all of the long time Jeep buyers who will move on to a real suv with suv capabilities?
I see a fair amount of interest in eSprinter van conversions but so far I don't know of anyone who has tried it. I think the range reduction due to the extra weight of the camper conversion is a major reason why. I've driven my EV from California to Brazil and along the way I learned to maximize range, generally getting 25% more than the rated range. I'd like to try my hand at this in an eSprinter that has been loaded with with extra weight as.some reviewers have done. If I can get acceptable range with a loaded eSprinter it might encourage people to go ahead and build out eSprinters as campers. Andre, who can I contact at Mercedes who can set me up with a weighted van for a test drive.
You forgot to say Ariya nissan has 2 glove compartments and also cones with heated seats as the Toyota. The Ariya comes with the cable to plug it in your house outlet 120v. I drove the model yY and didn't like it.
First of its kind built-in tonneau cover? Just ignoring the existence of others with built-in? Like the Chevy Avalanche. Which had it 20 years ago. Is this on purpose to suck Hyundai’s D? Or are you that ignorant. I’ll say it every time. This channel, all your channels. Are complete trash.
