Ki-Adi-Mundi was 60 years old in The Phantom Menace. Since this show takes place in 132 BBY, that's 100 years before The Phantom Menace, this is 40 years before Ki-Aid-Mundi was born. This is lore breaking to have him in it.

Personally, I like the show, it’s not my favourite Star Wars series by any means, but I’m just glad to see some Star Wars content that doesn’t take place during the prequels or OT era’s for once, cuz it’s been overused. My favourite Star Wars series are The Clone Wars and Mandalorian and Kenobi.

It's honestly weird to see Ki-Adi in the Acolyte... I mean, why is he there? Is it... like... Necessary in any capacity? As far as I can tell, it makes zero sense. I mean, first of all, it changes what we know from Legends when it comes to the age of Cereans... Okay, fair enough... I don't see why that was necessary to do though. Secondly, Ki-Adi Mundi doesn't really play any role in the series thus far that could only ever be played by him specifically... So... Again, why is he here? If I were the director of this show and someone suggested to me "How about we include Ki-Adi Mundi in this scene?" I'd immediately look at them and ask "Is he alive at this moment in time? I mean, this takes place 100 years before episode 1 after all... How old does his specie get exactly?" If they answer with "Oh his specie has no given age so we can say they age like Wookiees or something." I'd ask them "What does Legends say? If we have no answer for Canon, we follow what Legends is saying." And turns out Legends says Ki-Adi was BORN in 93 BBY! And as a result, it SHOULD be absolutely impossible for him to be here, and if that is the case, have someone else in Ki-Adi's shoes instead. They can still be a Cerean if that is absolutely required by the writer, but if the are a Cerean, they CANNOT and SHOULD NOT be Ki-Adi Mundi. Hell, it'd actually be more preferred if they weren't even a Cerean, as the specie was almost extinct by the time of the clone wars, so they are few in numbers already. Why not have them be a Nautolan, right? Not Kit Fisto, obviously, but a different Nautolan. I think that'd be cool to see.
