@@natekalnitzbass9446 Hey, I noticed how well you were able to change from one string to another " 5:24 " for example (sorry if you don't understand what I'm saying). How do you mute the strings you just touched? I do not know how to do so and I end up having to play my bass more or less as if it was a classical guitar (one finger on each string)

@@nicolassalinramis4863 thanks for the compliment! So at 5:24, I believe I’m jumping from the E to D string. When I go to play the D string, I actually keep my finger where it previously was on the E string, but I lift it so my touch is very gentle and it ends up muting the E string. To practice this, try playing octaves very slowly on the E and D! Every time you switch notes, lift the opposite finger gently to mute the string you’re not using! Hope this helps, bass on!

Thanks man! In all honesty, it’s mostly in the fingers!! To try to get closer to Squire’s/ Geddy Lee’s sound, I use quite a hard right hand with a heavy attack. Hope that helps, Cheers! 🍻
