Thank you Aprille, this is my second time doing this practice. This morning it really helped me move from a feeling of lack to a place of gratitude. Thank you again, I have been doing yoga on RU-vid for 7 years but your practices have added a level of grace to my life that I’ve never experienced. When I feel lonely or overwhelmed I come to your channel and I feel an emotional support Ive never experienced. Ive been dealing with PTSD for half of my life, and postpartum depression for the past year. Your practices have given me a sense of relief that Ive never had from any therapist or antidepressant. I truly feel Yin yoga is saving me. 💕
I am so honored to share time with you and glad to hear the practices are supporting you. Thank you so much for sharing and I wish you deep healing rest!
Thank you; Aprille- ive been wondnering how youve been since taking your Udemy class- and am now coming to terms with opening up to the bone graft as the leg still isnt healed eleven months out.. kinda mind blowing- but you have helped me remain centered and to show my body/self gentle love for once and i cant thank you , Meimo, Lucy, PJ, and Patrick enough- Midas says hello to them as well
I am so sorry to hear this Sam and I wish the very best for you. It has been a very long road to recovery for you and I hope you heal soon. Say hello to Midas! Peace, Aprille
Apologies for not having another platform to phrase it better- but i am able to remain present- and feel thats where the heaking takes place! I need to be more present/grateful
I tried this one today because I wanted to further stretch out my shoulders and upper back after getting a massage and a chiropractic treatment yesterday. I also wanted to do a shorter session and I really liked it. She is such a calming influence. I agree that the banana pose is now one of my new favourites after discovering it in another one of her excellent videos. I realize now that Yin is my preferred style of yoga. She explained how it is designed to stretch out the connective tissue, which is exactly what my body needs.
This is great Yoga for soothing flow, release blockages non aggressively etc, but as a man Just DONT do the first two poses in the Gym🤣 Only in your home! Because youll look like "Fruitsy/Pansy" Man! I Totally embrace my STUPID male Ego on that rule🤣
You are very welcome and thank you for sharing your practice time with me today! I wish you a wonderful and peaceful week and thank you for your kind words and support! Namaste, Aprille 🙏💖
You are so very welcome Sandra! That is so kind of you to say : ) I am happy this practice worked for you and I hope to practice with you again online soon!
Thanks for this practice again this morning Aprille. The side bends were wonderful, especially before the twist. The second reclined twist released all the way up into my neck. This practice allowed me to witness that virus may finally have cleared from my chest! Wahoo! xo Melissa
I'm just getting over pneumonia. I am going to do this practice as my getting back into the swing of things/taking better care of myself. I'm not sure about my energy levels just yet and a yin yoga routine is a perfect start! Thank you
I am so sorry to hear you have been sick. Take it easy as pneumonia recovery is the hardest and longest recovery I know of. Yin is a great practice for your energy level and so is Restorative. Restorative Yoga is meant to help your body recover and truly heal so you might be more comfortable starting with the first two classes I list below and as you recover moving into more Yin. You can try this class for congestion relief: bit.ly/Restorative4Congestion and bit.ly/Restorative4Exhaustion for when you just feel depleted too. When you start to feel better and a bit stronger, try this one to really open up your chest: bit.ly/YinYoga4HeartPericardiumMeridians. All of these are focused on your chest, side body and upper back areas to allow you room to breathe and relieve tightness and congestion. Take your time and ease into it and I wish you the best in recovering. Let me know how any of these worked for you and get well soon! Peace & Namaste, Aprille
Thank you! The pose lying on the side was really soothing. I replaced the second day session through this shorter one. Today, it was more difficult for me to bear the holding of the pose, maybe it would be good to add some sports tomorrow or a more vivid yoga practice. :)
Gesine, I often find that from day to day my patience in the practice changes and this may be the same for you in some way. It also depends on what time of day you practice (some people prefer night while others prefer morning). If you can, try some different times and see if that changes things. I hope you have a wonderful day and if you do decide for a more active practice - I have some Yinspired practices that include Yin and flow or some mindful flows in a playlist as well. Peace, Aprille
Thank you so much Aprille, your yin yoga sequences help so many. I hope that your mother is doing better. Agape, Para gate gate om 🕉🙏🙌👌 In lux, PAX, et Veritas
@@YogaRangerStudio there's some hand midras that help with these and kidney and pancreas cleanse with juices. She is gonna have a metallic taste in mouth and needs nutritional support. I pray for you and your families daily. Love to you ❤
Thank you for this physically, mentally, emotionally, energetically and spiritually heart healing practice Aprille :) I feel much more grounded and centered after this practice. It was a lovely practice this evening pre-meditation before bed. With gratitude, Melissa
I am so happy you enjoyed it and Yin is a wonderful practice right before bed to settle and ground you for the night. Thank you so much for your words and for practicing with me!
You are welcome Michelle! Here's a yoga for neck and shoulders that might help: bit.ly/Yoga4NeckShoulderTensionand/or you can use a block or towel under your head in some of these poses to reduce the compression on the neck. In the twisted child's pose at the beginning you can turn your head straight down and rest the forehead on the floor. Here's a very short neck and shoulder stretch too. bit.ly/InstantZenNeckShoulders There's not much for Yin for the neck and shoulders as these are not connective tissue dense areas but this longer Yin class has some similar shapes you could check out. It deals with the entire upper body! bit.ly/YinYoga4HeartPericardiumMeridiansThanks for joining me and have a great day! Peace & Namaste, Aprille
