YJNR to Hamburg on the Pennsy 

In this video we get to take a rare look at operations North of Leesport on the former Pennsylvania Railroad Schuylkill Branch, known today by Reading and Northern as "the Pennsy."
Operation North of Grow Mark in Leesport is quite rare, consisting of only the occasional storage move or trip to the RCT&HS museum in South Hamburg. The last train on the line to Hamburg was November of last year. Follow along as we give chase to YJNR1 taking a Reading Company gon to the museum and pulling two hoppers of assorted scrap material.
A journey up the Pennsy is a a slow yet interesting adventure as the line tends to accumulate a large amount of brush and downed trees from its infrequent use. This day was no exception as they had to wait for a downed tree to be cleared from the line near Church St. in Shoemakersville.
