This is fucking brilliant. As per usual, great tune if you ignore the funny lyrics, and there's something tragic in how true it actually is, but the fortunate side to it is that we're all TOTALLY OKAY with three grown men spending their lives this way. Because it's awesome.
I remember showing this to my sister way back when. She didn't really know or care about Ylvis back then, now she loves them, mostly because of this kind of things :D
The song is fantastic and i love this clip. But there is actually some truth in what Calle sings. He is a very famous comedian in Norway and is not just some random sidekick for Ylvis. He has been very popular the last 6-7 years, and have previously had a show on TVNorge with two other guys where i would say Calle was the main attraction. They later had their own show on TV2 (next biggest network in Norway, even bigger than TVNorge). He would definitely been on TV even if it weren't for Ylvis.
I think the group Calle was previously in is Raske Menn (Fast Men). Iirc, they had a show this year which coincides with Calle's Instagram suddenly bursting back into life.
Only they can make fun of themselves like that. Only they could be so critical of themselves. Got to admire them for that. Imagine saying that in front of all your fans!
When they take in their guests, their sidekick Calle has to leave the stage and he he often makes quite of a scene of the fact that he has to leave. It´s from this episode "I kveld med Ylvis s03e03" watch?v=3u6tFBObnzo (not subtitled)
Ha! I never imagined loving a song who's main lyrics include f**k you! I love how they came together at the end of the song. It was very dear at the end of the song. Great! Funny.
