Just for non-Norwegians: in Norway electric cars have their own DEDICATED line on the road. It's kind of motivation for buying electric cars so you never stuck in traffic. That's why he flips off the rest of a drivers passing them by. Also electric cars are free to charge them, so no fuel expenses. But they are crazy expensive and low performance. That's why most Norwegians think that they are just shit and stick to their BMW, Volvo and Mercedes.
Corrections.... They don't have any dedicated line, but they are allowed to drive in the Bus/Taxi line - big difference. Also, electric cars are cheap in Norway, no VAT, no import taxes, no road tax, no ferry tax and so on. Norway have the lowest prices on electric cars, and the highest on "normal" cars. And a Tesla S does not have low performance :-) (priced as a normal big family car). The new BMW i3 is 0-100 Km in 7.2 secs
Another funny/silly prank from Ylvis and the gang. I am always laughing or smling when I see their pranks or videos. I am getting used to how often they say f**ck or flip the bird. I am a fan.
That's because a huge shipment of Tesla cars ordered over a long period of time arrived Norway in September. The cars were sold throughout several months ahead, but were registered in September because of the shipment.
Except for the fact that Tesla Model S is the most selling car model in Norway and electric cars account for around 7% of sales now. Electric cars own.
This was because the car had gotten a lot of attention it media previous to the launch and it was most sold due to the amount of people who had pre-ordered the car.
Same price as many of those stationwagons and minisuvs that many people drive. Problem is they want enough range to go to some mountain cabin in the winter.
It may be because the sale on the Tesla S and the new Tesla shop in Oslo opened in September. It's not hard to know why it got sold this much either. It had a lot more capacity then the other competing models in Norway. Besides I was defending moistar1101 saying that electric cars are crazy expensive and has low performance compared to fuel cars. :)
Warning!: Do NOT show your middle finger to guys in expensive cars in Cyprus! Me and three friends did that when we were on a vacation there and the victim got so mad that he actually crashed into us! I'm so happy dad is a good driver, because we managed to escape! True story!!!!
Tesla might be relatively expensive, but I don't get how you can call it "low performance". Actually, you would need to go up to twice the price of a Tesla to get a fossil fuel car with a corresponding acceleration.
@@unlucky5442 Yes because they are heavily subsidized by oil money. Oh the irony. Now they are starting to take away the benefits like free parking, half price on toll roads etc. Without this the electric car does not have a future before the batteries are good for at least 1000 km on one charge. Oslo is a fart in the wind compared to other big cities with big pollution problems.
It's not shit, but it weighs two tonnes, have a lot of power and torque and only have rear-wheel-drive. Imagine that on Norwegian winter roads. I'm glad they scored high in the crash tests. I see a lot of them on the roads now though, so it's defiantly a popular car.
"Crazy expensive" er vel ikke elbiler. Og det er mange som kjører VW, Peugeot og Toyota, ikke noe vits i å gi inntrykk av at vi er Monaco eller Luxembourg. :)
It is most likely a taxi/bus lane, only taxis/buses, electric cars and motorcycles can use it. and i think it was the fact that he fucked to everybody that made the other drivers so angry...
Cars are taxed more and more expensive in Norway. The LEAF there costs kr.228600 while a VW Golf costs kr.242700. The government is very supportive, allows I presume temporary free parking, free charging and bus & taxi lane access. And don't get me started on range, performance, value for money, savings, etc. That's an age-old discussion most Norwegians agree on and that'll be way more than 500 characters, for what? So you can shake your head stubbornly? You will really be out of your depth!
700 people bought the BMW i3 without even thinking about it :P more than a 1000 orders on Tesla. And a lots of Nissan Leaf ;).......and Buddy (the little electric car shown here) ofcource :D
