Tusen takk for subs! You Norwegians (or foreigners speaking Norwegian) are doing great job on the Internet, translating videos with Ylvis so people all over the world can enjoy watching them :)
Thanks a lot for letting us know, it means a lot! I am a foreigner, since I'm not a Norwegian, but as a Swede I don't consider myself that foreign in a way... and I wouldn't say I speak Norwegian... you wouldn't want to hear me struggle to speak Norwegian... but I do understand it well enough to translate though. I really like that people all over the world can come together and enjoy themselves watching, and understanding, Ylvis!
Oh yay! Tusen takk så mye for oversettelsene! Woot! Jeg elsker disse! Those boys look better every year. I think they will fully ripen in about two more years. (My theory is age 37 is the most handsome age for a man) :-) Also, no surprise that Bård is sometimes grouchy, lol. Anyway, today's new phrase (I hope I am spelling this right?) at 4:32 you've translated "people our own age" it sounds like V is saying, phonetically "folk på veggen alder" which is something silly about a wall... so I am guessing he is actually saying, really fast: "folk på vår egen alder"? Is my guess correct? V speaks more slowly than B but he does slur his words together... Thank you again. I'm home sick in bed and this made me smile!
Det var så lite. Hope you're feeling better now. You're totally correct (as far as I can tell), Vegard says "folk på vår egen alder". It's like you look at them as bottles of vintage wine or aged whiskey or something that you have in your cellar... "I have two bottles of Chateau de Ylvis, one from 1979 and one from 1982...". I really want to give you a longer answer about differences in work culture between Scandinavia and the US, but I feel that could turn in to some what of an essay, so I don't. For now. Love your comments!
