Wow, what an adventure! Your journey through this race was truly inspiring to watch! From the bustling start to unexpected fan encounters and pushing through the tough sections, you tackled it all with determination and a smile. And crossing the finish line with your little one? Priceless. Thanks for sharing this amazing experience with us! Keep shining and spreading those positive vibes, Ben! 👏
Cheers Reto! It was fantastic value for money! To get a race of any distance for that price is fantastic let alone a well supported trail marathon. Thanks for watching bud! 😎🤘
NICE Ben, BRAVO!!! 💪🏃💪 You must know the NDW like the back of your hand, or maybe it's more the SDW? Or probably both actually!!😂 Yeah just a training run, me too I enter races for a "training run" but then I can't help myself giving it my all in the moment anyway... must be ego!!😁🤣 Here near Paris too we've had a few days up to 18°/19° now, just LOVELY!! With the early spring flowers and the cherry blossom perfume starting to fill the air too... love love love running this time of year!!!
Thanks Bev! It was a great little race. Very low key but really well supported. The aid stations were great and it was really great value for money. I had to do a race on the NDW because it's my fav trail. I had an absolute blast the weather was great that day but it has turned back to being damp this week. Hopefully it will pick back up again soon though. Thanks for watching Bev! 😎🤘
Oh dear! It was a bit confusing at times in the street sections. Lots of little alleyways. Had to keep a keen eye for the signage. It was a wicked race though I am sure I will be back in 2025. 😎🤘
Lovely looking event and super low key and great value ! Do they provide a results list and how many entered Ben? Great filming Ben and amazing running as always 🏃🏻♂️👊
It was a superb little event Michael. I really enjoyed it. The aid stations were superb and to get a medal and short for £25 was incredible value. There wasn't an official result table for the event and in terms of entrants I think I heard there was about 150 for the marathon and 40 for the half. Mixture of runners and walkers. I highly recommend it for the value. 😎🤘
Thanks Ben, they would get more entrants from marathon runners who are aiming for the hundred marathon club or members of 100 mc if they changed it up and also produced a times results sheet.
It really was JBS 🤣 despite the confusing start I really enjoyed the rest of the event. The aid stations were superb and to get a medal and a t shirt for £25 is incredible. I will be running it again for sure. Thanks for watching mate! 😎🤘
Nice one but ruining your shoes on a towpath and no goal pace. Can't think where have seen that before. Otherwise looked surprisingly dry. All good prep for the 100 miler. Is there a 50 mile version for everyday runners? Umm Dan Runs gets a cameo. Was TRG behind a tree I wonder and the old gang would be back together but guess saving himself for pacing at parkrun.
Unfortunately TRG didn't make an appearance. I think he was likely recovering from a max effort parkrun the day before. Sometimes you just have to cowboy up for these long distance events. 😎🤘
Cracking effort mate! Sub 4 hour trail marathon for a training run and with all that climbing is super. Looked really controlled too, training is clearly paying off 👌 loved Theo's analysis at the end too 😅 25 quid for a trail marathon and that spread is what it's about 👍
Cheers Ben! Really pleased with how it went mate. Great bit of training. 👍 £25 for any race is superb these days mate. The aid stations were brilliant and to get a medal and a shirt is incredible. Thanks for watching mate! 😎🤘
