The implication that a black-passing adult can't have a white-passing child biologically is pretty harmful in itself as well. Dhar Mann had an opportunity to present the fact that mixed-race children can often not appear to be related to one of their parents, but instead he's like "tHeY lOoK dIfFeReNt So ThEY aRe".
That's interesting and definitely true but he would never be that nuanced lol. Now that I think about it, my uncle's children look fully white and he's dark-skinned, they don't even have curly hair. Y'know, despite the adopted daughter being an explicit focal point of the entire video, the script almost seems to just forget that she even exists by giving her no more than 2 lines. Which, if she had more, she could've ended the conflict of the video in under a minute... A momentous achievement in terrible writing.

Honestly the same last name argument doesn’t work. My biological mom and dad has a different last names than me. My sister has the same last name as my father and I have the last name of my grandfather. Edit: my grandmother has two last names.
They are either really uninformed or really wanted to use the name "Ebony Jones". There can be some inconveniences from inconsistent names (first or last) particularly when travelling abroad but it shouldn't be alien to adult human beings that don't have added safeguarding responsibilities and see the child regularly.

I've seen the 'Boyfriend Shames Tall Girlfriend' video and it's almost the exact same as the 'Boyfriend Shames Fat Girlfriend'. It is legit just the same video but the script just replaces 'fat' with 'tall'. Granted, I can't be surprised. Dhar Mann seems to have a whole formula going on and he rarely wants to deviate from it. These videos are almost all the same in the first place.
The video about the guy dumping the tall girl is hilarious and definitely the one that's made me laugh the hardest. He's just so ANGRY through the first half of the story, it cracks me up.

I can’t remember how I came to see it but this was my first Dhar Mann video. I’m fairly sure the identical one but with the father and son was my second one. This channel is the only other place I’ve seen any Dhar Mann videos.
I'm 100% convinced this video is what inspired Generation Hope. The over the top unrealistic villain, the helpless victim, the idiotic police (security guard in this case but whatever), the cancer.
