This yoga nidra for vata dosha is a grounding yogic sleep practice. This fully guided vata dosha meditation is an effortless relaxation that will calm the nerves. Yoga nidra for vata elevation is ayurvedic wisdom that is ancient and powerful. If you're wondering how to reduce vata dosha, this yoga nidra for vata imbalance with Ally Boothroyd will soothe and ground your elevated wind/vata element. This Nidra includes some breath work to further calm the nervous system including Bhramari Pranayama (buzzing bee breath) and finishes with the physiological sigh.

Dear Ally, I've tried many of your yoga nidras and this is still my favorite. You are right - it is life-changing. Rather than feeling constantly agitated and overwhelmed, I now most often feel deeply relaxed.

Thanks ally! I’m constantly fighting a dis regulated nervous system- doing 30 mins yoga vinyasa and this meditation to follow, is a total reset. The movement and the stillness afterwards feels incredible

This is amazing!! Probably my favourite meditation I’ve ever heard 🙏🏻💗 Personally, I get so distracted by music, natural sounds make me relax much better. I think it makes the channel so unique. I also feel like you have a real idiosyncratic way of guiding us. It feels like a safe space away from chaos. What a skill! Thank you 🙏🏻

Hello Ally 🤍 I really enjoyed this nidra. It brought me a totally new experience for some reason. I think first time in my life I felt totally focused and present at each second. I had a very powerful sensation of energy and buzzing in the brain and the eyes were rapidly moving, however the consciousness stayed completely present and focused, almost hyper focused on your words and guidance without any tension in the body or breath. Just wow. I didn’t know yoga nidra can be this too, as mostly my awareness either drifts partially with the relaxation or the mind is just completely all over the place and I constantly have to invite the body to release the tension. Thank you for your guidance and wisdom that you share through your trainjng and here on RU-vid as well. I really love this journey together 🙏🏼🤍🧘🏼‍♀️ Namaste, Veronika

Nice vocal audio but personally I am not a fan of the birds chirping. That reminds me of early morning// time to wake up and I’m doing the opposite; listening to yoga nidra to try to fall asleep.

You might prefer my recordings that are specifically for falling asleep. This recording is actually intentionally trying to create a state of Yoga Nidra, not sleep. If you search my name and "insomnia" or "sleep meditation" you might have better luck as these tracks will have something a little more like white noise which usually helps people fall asleep.

That might be the best yoga nidra I've ever enjoyed. Did you study under Jennifer Piercy? She's the grand dame, and your script borrowed heavily from her, but then you jumped off from that base, and flew. Delicious.

I haven't studied with her YET... but I would love to as soon as I can as I love her voice and work and her language choices especially around the settling in phase. I know this is an old video. I recently began some pretty intensive Psychadelic Intergration Therepy for my PTSD. My P.I. coach recommended Yoga Nidra. On top of the trauma; I'm in law school with two finals in the upcoming 4 days. I was having a panic attack for over 8 hours, with less than 15 minutes without a panic attack. I have to study atleast 4 more hours. This was so helpful. I can't thank you enough ❤❤❤

So calming and peaceful. I had a warmer on the back of my body, I used an essential oil called Peace and Calming to breath in at the start and I could smell this at the end when I turned to my side. Very grounding and soothing for me. Thanks Ally ~ Sue YTT

Thank you... I hope this would help me to find balance. This week I've bee listen to this everyday. Don't know for sure if is cortisol but my heart has been accelerated, for a week, feeling kind of anxious and had some slepsness night, like last night 😓 I've been listen to other of your recordings as well. I was doing yoga nidra once in a day since months ago,, but this week I'm returning to your channel like 2 or 3 times in a day. Gives me calm for certain time but I'm not balanced yet... omg how hard is to embody and accepted as it is...

I've been working with the vata elevation practice every night this month and I love it. As a result I'm giving up my daily wine happen which is another good thing - more sleep, less alcohol.

Thank you Ally, I'm lingering on Module two, Thank you for this delightful nidra. The mantra Lam sounded for a moment as 'mum' to me, a comforting thought going into the earth connection and the image of mother. I feel grounded, blessed and peaceful.
