Welcome to @shantipeaceyoga 💕
This week's class is all about RELEASING THE DAY.
Letting go of the day's events, stresses, negative emotions and held tension in the body, mind and spirit 💫
We begin and end with a BREATH WORK technique where we hold the breath for a short time and try to relax into that space of emptiness. When it's time to exhale, we do so with an audible sigh out the mouth, feeling the vibrations of this sound move through the body and with it the release of old energy.
Breath work or PRANAYAMA is such a great tool to help regulate the nervous system. If you enjoyed this aspect of the class let me know and I would happy to include more moments of pranayama in future classes ❤
The asana portion of this class is slow and gentle. Our bodies have been working hard throughout the day and now it's time to stretch and rest!
