They look balanced. They have weakspots and reserve tracks are pretty much meaningless. A new american heavy branch is actually something the game has been missing for years.
@@happygnom27 bad dispersion isn't a balance mechanism, it only make it frustrating : when you fire and don't hit when your supose to, or when you receive a shot that wasn't supposed to hit. To understand it better I will lunch hammers to your face, since I'm not likely to hit you, their is no reason that I don't.
@@lephaytheo3098 yeah and speed of a vehicle also isn't a balance mechanism, it only makes it more frustrating to go into your position by the same logic
@@happygnom27 speed is normaly given to light vehicule, light vehicule are underarmored and/or underarmed so this balance them, bad dispersion is compensate by, wait for it, nothing. If you want to balance a gun you change the reload speed and damage, that way smal gun do small damage but reload fast and big gun do more damage at the take of a slower reload. Penetration would be harder to balance but I am not working for wargaming so I not going to spend 10 day a mouth to find a way to. I just thinks that a higher penetration could be balanced by a lower reload speed, you know more chance to inflict domage but an overall of less dommage. But maybe stick to the role of the tank, it doesn't make sense that a recon vehicule can easily penetrate a heavy front, but if this vehicule has been designed to be double used as light td it make sense that even a relatively armored medium could be in great danger.
@@lephaytheo3098 tanks meant to fight close range tend to have higher dispersion then sniping tanks it's not made to just make the game more frustrating, it also helps new players find the role of a specific vehicle, if it can t hit anything from long range maybe it's supposed to fight up close
Friendly reminder that the Yoh tanks and their reserve tracks are once again, things planned by H.L. Yoh. These weren't made overnight in Sprocket, its not a concoction of Wargaming; everything was designed, planned, and submitted to the Army by H.L. Yoh.
Glad to see that comment! You can also find out more about the Yoh Tanks Project in our historical articles worldoftanks.eu/en/news/history/yoh-tank-concepts-part-1/ - Dwigt
Ok no problem, now start explaining the origin of the chinese tank destroyers, the czech heavies, the entire italian tech tree, and the high tier polish tanks. I don't care if they make tanks up as long as the game is balanced which they struggle to do with fantasy tanks.
@@ravazoid469 now that I can't explain. They are made up I admit, but you can't point fingers at Wargaming for making the Yohs, they're implementing something historical. You can blame them with as you say, the balancing factor.
@@ravazoid469 We do know that not all tanks in our game existed in real life or even on paper. Some of our tanks are inspired by existing projects like the CZ heavies for example. We do however try to keep them close to reality and most of all we want to add interesting and balanced mechanics so they can fit into the game and add more diversity. - Dwigt
I was thinking that maybe they should add a British small caliber light line that follows the crusaders playstyle, or hybrid drivetrain for the Porsche tanks.
Yap there is no absolute armor there are weakspot no 1000 damage clip in 2 sec brutal dps and things like this even the tier X hase a weaker turretring so you can pen it . Mybe a little bit stronger than an E5 and i would say its like a Obj.277 for the american branch but not at a lvl of a Vz.55 .
wait for softstats, only tier X will be good in beginning, so idiots will use free XP and gold to get faster new tank. I forget idiots allready spend free XP and gold in auction for stupid skins, but its ok, can buy more gold, this year allready in january😉
@Daniel Barbarossa the cupola is just stupid with m iv y which make everything else are meaningless. With techtree tank, at least fewer people will try to pen the cupola.
And in the next episode of ranked battles here what we have prepared for you i first hull down position we have KRANVAGN and in second hull down position we have the new YOOHHH tank (aka cement mixer) and who of those almighty hull down monsters will have the glory to penetrate first all of this and many more you can watch on the next episode of RANKED BATTLES
What I like about the new mechanic is the longer repair of main track if you are moving - you should add a similar mechanic to wheeled vehicles, so that they have to stop for their wheels to repair.
Exactly what nobody needed. How about to undo the HE "REWORK" and "REBALANCE" the current Meta? Aka: Reduce combat-capacity of hulldown brawlers and maybe add proper weakspots to these vehicles like giving them lower reverse speed and horrible dispersion values. Instead of adding more fantasy B.S. to the already pathetic and hilarious Vehicles in the game. Or actually change the ecconomy system to reward good games based on medals and experience and penalize very bad results or selfdestruction harder so Bots will no longer be able to finance games over T6?
@@MakMak02 I dont have the 60TP but ok. Sounds fair to me. Punish hulldown campers for siting still and not taking cover as everyone else has to. Simple the only way to kill these buggers since even prem ammo cant pen their turrets. I now its unconfortable to loose you favorite foolish no skill requiered playstyle but how about to get gud and actually "play" the game and not stand still and click a few times with the 2 Button slammed trough ur table.
@@MakMak02 i would still take endless HE spam with my Spall Liner than not having any way to damage other hulldown 60TP and Chieftians and such . HE was not a real problem its just all the tryhard f s didnt give up on the Gun Rammer or something to counter the HE so insted they cried until they get what they wanted .
@@kaszas272HU Yeah, that explains why you are a bad player, even thinking about using spall liner... Going hull down in a useful position without over exposing requires a 100 times the skill compared to shooting he like a bot anywhere in the tank and hit for 300-400 damage... But y'all bots never accept that, you get destroyed by a good player in a hull down tank and instead of thinking what you could have done better you just cry about your HE or whatever.
@@mnh1270 yeah but there were actual tanks in service that are completely missing. And there's a big difference between a blueprint and even a functioning prototype.
@@Acorbet86 The way I see it Wargaming won't put all existing tanks in the game, but they will put new tank line that has the same characteristic, like swedish ht line ( autoloader), 277 line (fast heavy) etc.
@@tomn.9987 why is that? i say the completely opposite, because both the tier 9 and 10 have completely broken guns. sure their gimmick isnt as good, but when do you need to go "forward" to "retreat" anyways?

We don´t have plans for a common test this time. You can always leave your feedback after playing with the tanks directly into the game or later in future public tests! Can me someone explain why this tier VIII Yoh tank is like 1000 times better than some other tanks (f. e. even premiums - yes, I'm looking at you, T26E5/Patriot) and why are you still ignoring this fact Wargaming? It really doesn't make any sence and that's disgusting to be honest...
@@mauroscarinci3851 yeah, I know, because we can definitely see it this/last year as well, that WG are pushing the marketing to the limits and almost completely forget about regular players/FTP players and simply they are putting a middle finger to all of these players and that's so disgusting, you know...
So see those cupolas? They are massive, especially on the T7. A well handled gun can pen this with ease. When the gun is raised, the cupolas on the M-V-Y and M-VI-Y will be a harder shot, but still very formidable. The Russian heavy armor is just as good in the higher tiers. And the Swedish heavies will still be the best hull down in the game.

How about using those mechanics for tanks with 4 tracks? Like T95, Obj 279e and AE Phase 1? Of course they would need to be rebalanced, but I think it is a dumb idea to waste it if you guys already developed it...
Its ok at AE Phase 1 but dont boost further the Obj.279e or the turtle that already hase a pretty good winrate but yeah there would be a great idea to implement new mechanics to the already existing tanks .
T95 is too heavy to support a tank on those extra tracks it takes all 4 double heavy duty tracks to move that bunker if a track breaks it will not move. Those reserved tracks cannot work on such a heavy tank.
@@jp18449 nope its needs all 4 tracks to move yes its an even more armored t28 but its so heavy its need all 4 tracks no question asked and there is 4 and not only 2 cuz its so heavy the tracks can get easily damaged by its own weight and it was esier to repair snaller tracks on the field than taking down the whole thing .
@@jp18449 also at that time they didnt have any better solution for that but to use 4 tracks cuz they needed 4 from the strongest and best tracks at that time .
@@jp18449 i bet you never actually looked into why it got called T95 did you? Let google explain it : The T28 Super Heavy Tank was an American heavily armored tank/self-propelled gun designed for the United States Army during World War II. ... It was re-designated as the 105 mm Gun Motor Carriage T95 in 1945, and then renamed in 1946 as the Super Heavy Tank T28. So in 1945 its first name was T95 and in 1946 thats the next year it was renamed to T28 superheavy . Now its literally in the name that the tank is super heavy , That means you cannot use medicore tracks on such a tank and for that reason the secondary tracks will not work. You can install them but they will break total waste of money.

i wanted to send an replay to the RNG contest but it says it cannot participate becouse the file is incomplete. It kind is it doesnt show the stats and i dont know why...any help?
Did you ever think of balancing the teams better? Like instead of working on a new line, spending some time on matchmaking (same 10 year old problem) ... Just saying
There is a nice picture about the blueprint where you can see the crew sitting. There are two crew members on the turret and two on the hull. Cheers! -DelhRoh
Its all about the RNG to aim a microscopic weakspot is yes hard but "get gud lol" the crap part is the RNG even if you aim at it it will miss and even if you hit it you get a low pen roll and will not penetrate it .
Another Tank with good armor, good mobility and good gun depression aaaaaaand with a reserve track. Finally something new! Oh wait? what are you saying? We already have for example the Kran, Stb-1 and yada yada yada... I mean i`m happy over a new line but pls Wargaming think of something new
I can't wait to test them. On the Test Server. Pawlack looks like straight up Powercreep. M-II-Y has too good Pen, 180 would be better. M-III-Y is gona be straight up meta, weaken it's lower hull and give it a bigger cupola. M-VI-Y seems reasonably balanced, I definitly would drop the DPM so the Conqueror doesn't get pushed too much in the shadows, otherwise because the two massive Weakspots it gets a thumbs up by me. M-V-Yoh is gona be meta, too much DPM again, and the Weakspots can easily be hidden. I also do hope a Turbo doesn't increase the speed you can drive with reserve Tracks!
